All players should register online for tryouts on SU s web site. On the first tryout day, check in at our registration table. Your child will be issued a track number for player ID purposes. Next, pick up wrist bands that ID what region of the club you live in. On subsequent tryout days, simply inform the registration volunteers that your child (with tryout number) are present. At the start of the tryout session, a coach will call all participants into the center of the field to provide players with tryout instructions. Each session lasts 90 minutes. All players will be evaluated based on their technical and tactical ability as well as their physical abilities. Players who exhibit a strong work ethic and who display a respect for the game, coaches and fellow players will show well. Roster spots may be offered on the first night of tryouts. All players, whether receiving an offer or not, will be called within 72 of the completion of the last tryout session. While not always possible, ideally all participants will attend all tryout sessions. If unable to attend the first session, please contact the club.

All players at Seattle United are required to purchase Seattle United Adidas home/away/training kits. All items are purchased online from Seattle United's retail partner, Soccer West. Uniform Fitting Nights are offered each year What it means to be an Adidas Premier Club: ü Our kids get to wear these great looking kits! ü Adidas supplies balls, bibs and cones for our Academy every year! ü Adidas supplies our teams with balls, bibs, cones and coach gear! ü Adidas supplies equipment for our Seattle Cup tournament ü Adidas supplies 75 financial aid uniform sets each year (2 uniforms/set) Custom program designed for Seattle United by Soccer West ü Quarterly 20% discount on all Adidas purchases ü 10% year-round discount on all purchases

A core ethic of the Seattle United club is to provide kids with an equal opportunity to access advanced development soccer without regard to a particular player or family s ability to pay. Program Fees, Team Fees and Uniforms Blind and confidential review process (school lunch program qualification) Team Fee support - It is the policy of Seattle United that team budgets accommodate players that qualify for financial aid at the same percentage that each player qualified for assistance under the club s financial aid standards. SU Financial Aid Process: First step, all players must tryout for a team and receive a roster spot from a coach Next, a family interested in receiving aid must complete an aid application and submit it along with relevant documentation to the SU office within the aid application window SU s Financial Aid Committee reviews all completed applications, and will contact you within a week of applying with a determination A current Free or Reduced Lunch Letter from your school district will generally result in an aid award letter Application forms and information are available at: www.seattleunited.com.

Payment is due at the time of registration. Seattle United accepts e-checks, Credit and Debit Cards. As the club is charged a 2.5% transaction fee on all credit/debit card transactions, we pass that fee through to our members. The Commitment Fee and a payment plan are required even if you are applying for financial aid. Payment options include: Pay in full Eight monthly payments Four equal quarterly payments All players must be registered within 10 calendar days of accepting an offer to join the team.

If you choose to use one of the payment plans, your program fees are auto-debited. Here are some things to consider: You will be required to provide credit card or checking account information and a transfer authorization. The Commitment Fee is due at time of registration and is twenty percent (20%) of the total club fee. The follow-on payments will be automatically pulled from your credit/debit card or checking account on the 15 th of each month. The commitment fee is non-refundable. Upon commitment to a team, you are financially responsible for all Club fees as stated for the entire playing year. Delinquent or failed payments will be cause to remove player from the team until the account is brought current. Seattle United reserves the right to deny payment schedules at their discretion. The fee schedule for your particular program is posted at the Seattle United website.

Team Financial Management Teams manage their own finances for team-specific costs, e.g., ü Tournaments, optional equipment, social, optional spring season fees, supplementary training, team camps, etc. Each Team has a volunteer Treasurer and/or Manager to handle Team finances: Each Team must develop a budget at the beginning of the season and collect a Team Fee from each parent.
