POLLUTION$OF$THE$CITY$ Despite it s potentials, Visakhapatnam City is declared as the 7 th pollutant city in the Country, some of them are Pollution more due to Port Trust, Steel Plant, Petroleum Refinery, Pharma City, etc. Traffic Congestion and more usage of Private modes of transport also contributing to the pollution. Minimum usage of Bi-cycles and increasing number of two wheelers causing the pollution further. Conducting Seminars and Workshops on implementation of Low Carbon Mobility Plan in the City, involving various Stakeholders with the support of ICLEI and UNEP!
