Teen Paradise Party Saturday, September 27 7-10 pm Clubhouse $15 prepay by 9/26 $20 at the door 6-10th grade only! Teens, you voted and the results are in. Your next dance is a Luau! Recycling pickup on Thursdays Cardboard is recyclable and should be placed under the recycle bins for Thursday pickup. The requirement is that cardboard boxes be cut up into sections no larger than 4 ft x 2 ft. Pick up Please always pick up after your dog to keep the sidewalks, common areas and neighborhoods clean. Calling all Animal Lovers It s time to do something good! The humane society and safe animal shelter are in need of our assistance. The current condition of the economy has left many pet owners no choice, but to leave their dearly loved four legged companions to those who can provide the necessary care for survival. CW025A. We are collecting the following items: wet and dry cat and dog food (kitten/adult), blankets, sheets and bleach. All items can be dropped off at Swim Park or Waterfront Park. Thank you in advance for your contribution. The Recreational Staff Neighbors across Eagle Harbor came out and enjoyed and evening of fellowship at the National Night Out in August. Each neighborhood was visited by The Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Eagle Harbor Neighborhood Watch. Tommy took the victory by sinking a 35ft eagle putt on the third play off hole. Congratulations to Tommy and his family for this great accomplishment. Eagle Harbor Wins 17 Cup for the Third Year in a row This great pro-amateur event consists of 10 amateurs and 3 professionals from all three clubs on Highway 17, Eagle Harbor, Fleming Island and Magnolia Point. Three days of competition and three different formats are played. This year Eagle Harbor retains the Cup for the third consecutive year. The CDD Attorney presented proposals from East/West and GSG to provide CCUA Administrative Services for Fiscal Year 2008-2009. The Board approved for the CDD Attorney to draft an agreement with East/West for the CCUA Administrative Services as they had the lowest bid of $25,000. The Board approved 2-1 to pay East/West $12,500 for the CCUA services provided from April 2008 to September 2008. CDD Engineer The Board approved Purchase Order CDD-603 in the amount of $1,000 for Tree Amigos to install St. Augustine sod in the area disturbed by the installation of an under drain. District Manager Items The Board did not approve the Stone Creek Track D clean-up. The Board approved for the Chairman to execute a letter to the Clay County Transportation Committee regarding the intersection between Eagle Harbor Parkway and Town Center Boulevard. The Board approved the Notice of Hearing to Impose and Provide for Collection of Non-Ad Valorem Assessments, with a revision to note that the Debt Service is unchanged. The Board directed the District Manager to issue a RFP or RFQ for a Real Estate Broker to move forward in regards to the rental of the Sales Center building. Staff presented Department Updates and Monthly Status of Open Items tasked to GSG.
