The weather was kind to us, the atmosphere was wonderful and the quality of the exhibits was to a high standard. Could I also take this opportunity to thank everyone for their welcoming of my hubby, David, as this was his first time to a show since his operation in January. Well shaped head with good foreface, positive front, good depth of chest, short coupled, firm quarters with well bent stifles. Pleased to make him Best Veteran. 2 nd : Barry s Rustasha Red Hot Rhumba - Bigger dog than one but well balanced throughout. Good head shape, tight front, well placed shoulders, deep chest with well sprung ribs. Strong positive quarters moving soundly covering the ground well. 3 rd : Lipscombe s Sh Ch Kellizlot River Legend. Puppy Dog (1-0) 1 st : Gardner s Alanea Game Reserve With Danwish - Stood alone but a very pleasing exhibit. Good bone and substance for one so young. Pleasing head and expression, good eye shape, very positive in front, good depth of chest, short coupled over loin and positive quarters. Very happy on the move. Junior Dog (4-0) 1 st : Green s Zendarric Heart Shaped Box With Viszaset - Real typey young man. Pleasing head and expression, tight front, good topline, positive quarters, good bend of stifle, a little proud of his tail on the move. Moved with positive gait covering the ground well. 2 nd : Gardner s Alanea Game Reserve With Danwish. 3 rd : Rowles Zendarric Thunderstruck. Yearling Dog (6-0) 1 st : Ball & Harrison s Corranroo Commitment To Siorrudh - I have liked this young dog from being a baby. He is a nice type, lovely head and eye, good tight front, well balanced body conformation and today moving well. He has his days when he can be untidy on the move but today was not one of them. 2 nd : Green s Zendarric Heart Shaped Box With Viszaset. 3 rd : Collins Romaunt Bloomin Grand At Forestpoint. Novice Dog (3-0) 1 st : Jones Alanea Royal Reward Of Berryessa - Nice type. pleasing head and expression. Best of fronts with good tight feet. Well sprung ribs, deep chest, short coupled and positive hind quarters. Covered the ground well on the move. Just needs time to mature. 2 nd : Gardner s Alanea Game Reserve With Danwish. 3 rd : Payne s Lovenjoel Prince Charming. Graduate Dog (2-0) 1 st : Collin s Romaunt Bloomin Grand At Forestpoint - Rangy young dog, needs time to mature. Good shaped head and earset with correct eye shape. Balanced body conformation, positive quarters with correct tail set. Sound on the move can be a little untidy in front movement. Just needs time to collect himself. 2 nd : Payne s Lovenjoel Prince Charming. Nice type, pleasing head shape, clean neck fitting into well placed shoulders. Straight front, balanced body shape. well held topline. Moved soundly. Post Graduate Dog (3-1) 1 st : Ward s Cornadore Argyle With Copperwhite (Imp Pol) - Compact young dog with lovely typical red & white head, good eye shape and good depth of muzzle. Clean neck, well placed shoulder, well sprung ribs, short over loin, positive quarters. well held topline while on the move 2 nd : Owen s Anisbrig Tamdhu - Nice type overall, reluctant to be handled but with practice this should come. Good overall conformation, pleasing head and expression. Moved soundly.
Limit Dog (8-1) 1 st : Birch & West s Corranroo Camero At Hitides - I liked this young dog a lot, Loved his head and expression and so free flowing on the move. Good clean neck, tight front, good feet, correct body proportions, good bone and substance with no hint of coarseness. Pleased to award him Res Dog CC. 2 nd : Pilmer s Anisbrig Tobermory - Rangier type than one but has all the essentials. Good head and eye, correct ear set, tight front, well laid back shoulders, strong quarters, well bent hocks. Covered the ground well on the move. 3 rd : Mcdonald s Roanjora Castelao JW ShCM. Open Dog (4-0) 1 st : Barry s Sh Ch Rustasha Golden Rapper - This is a lovely type big enough for me but no hint of coarseness. Good shaped head with nice expression, clean throat, tight positive front, good bone and substance. Deep chest, well sprung ribs, powerful quarters. A powerful dog which sometimes gets the better of him while on the move but today was solid and sound in his actions. Pleased to award him Dog CC. 2 nd : Lipscome s Sh Ch Courtdown Finnians Rainbow - Good quality dog of excellent proportions. Lovely head and expression, good neck and shoulders, well held topline, positive quarters. good tailser. Moved with animation. 3 rd : Barry s Rustasha Rhapsody In Red ShCM. Veteran Bitch (9-0) 1 st : Barry s Sh Ch Shireoak Hurricane Ruby Rustasha (Imp Can) - Almost 12 years old and what a credit to the breed and to her owners. Feminine lady, good head and expression. Sound all round conformation. Can put a lot of younger dogs to shame on the move. Her ability to move round the ring is a pleasure to see. 2 nd : Jarvis Shannonlee The Wood Lark - Slightly stronger bitch but still very feminine. Good head and expression, well placed shoulders. Well sprung ribs, short over loin and positive quarters. Moved well. 3 rd : Barry s Shireoak Caramel Ice With Rustasha (Imp Can). Minor Puppy Bitch (2-0) 1 st : Newman s Taxus Golden SAGE - Sweet baby with pleasing head and expression. Good coupled body shape, well balanced throughout. Needs time to settle but plenty of time in front of her. Moved well for one so young. 2 nd : Lamb s Lanamore Alpha Edition Aurora At Casafelice (Imp Skv) - Very sweet bitch, still very much a baby. Lovely overall body shape and moved very well. Needs time to get used to being gone over but hopefully this will all fall into place. Puppy Bitch (2-0) 1.
