Score posting for local scores runs from April 1 through October 31. Away scores must be posted whenever they are played at a course that is that is in season. Score Posting - Calumet members are responsible for posting their own adjusted scores for handicapping purposes. Both 9 and 18- hole scores are required to be entered into the system. Members must post all scores during the season regardless of what course they play. The CDGA handicapping database includes most Chicago area courses and allows for other course scores as long as the slope and rating are entered. Unfinished Rounds - If you play 13 or more holes, you must post an 18- hole score. If you play 7-12 holes, you must post a 9- hole score. For For Unfinished Holes - Scores for both match play and stroke play (includes best ball events) must be posted for handicap purposes. Actual scores are used for all events. Some of the items that will be considered are as follows: Improving faster than the system can react, numerous away or internet scores that are higher than home scores, and manipulation of scores. Penalty Scores All scores must be posted on the day any round is played. Those players that fail to post a score may be given a penalty score that is equal to the lowest handicap differential in their scoring record and if the golf shop is informed of the correct score, that score will be posted as well.
