SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS Sanction No. 17-R-4733-S This event is held under the 2017 General Competition Rules, based on the 2017 GCR and Category as amended for 2017 per "FASTTRACK", 2017 SEDiv SARRC Rules, and SEDIV/CFR rules as published on the appropriate websites. This Event is our first SARRC race of the 2018 year, and SARRC points will be awarded for all races. Points earned in all races also count towards the 2018 CFR points championship totals. REGISTRATION: Drivers can register for the race online at www.dlbracing.com. Drivers without internet access must complete a paper entry form and mail with entry fees to the Registrar, Sharon Priep, 5284 Salisbury Blvd, Winter Park, FL 32789. Make checks payable to Central Florida Region, SCCA. Second driver must submit separate entry form and $35 fee. Second drivers added, or changed, at the track, will be assessed a late fee. A bank service fee will be charged for any check returned by the bank. A full refund will be made if the entry is withdrawn prior to Tech or, if a no show, your check will be destroyed and credit card payments refunded. If you check in at registration but do not go to Tech, you must notify the Chief of Registration, BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE TRACK, in order to receive your full refund. Phone/fax entries will not be accepted. Registration will be held in the CFR building located to the right of the main entrance to the raceway. Do not mail entries by any method that requires a signature upon delivery. COMPETITION NUMBERS: SEDiv permanent numbers will receive priority assignment when possible, depending on class groups, for entries received by November 15, 2017. ENTRY FEE PAYMENT: Drivers who complete their registration online, via the DLBRacing.com website, will have the option of paying by check/money order, or by credit card at the time of registration. Entry fee payments for online registrants not received by the registrar within 7 days of completion of online registration, may result in the delay of processing your entry at registration. Credit Card payment option is available only for those drivers/entrants who complete their registration online, via the DLBRacing.com website. Credit cards will not be accepted for drivers submitting paper entries, or for entries received at the track. PASSES: Each entry receives four (4) pit passes, INCLUDING THE DRIVER AND ENTRANT. Additional passes will be available at Registration.. Guests of the region may receive their VIP pass at the membership window. VIPs are not allowed in hot areas. Race Staff, guests, & crew must sign for their own passes and must arrive while registration is open. SCCA members (non-participants) must present a valid membership card for admission. Workers and members may bring guests. Worker license and membership card must be presented at registration. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY: All drivers must be a member of the SCCA and have a current SCCA Full Competition, SCCA Pro, or an FIA Class C or better, or a valid SCCA Novice Permit, or a license approved and listed in the GCR is required to participate in this event. If you do not have the proper credentials it is your responsibility to contact the Registrar prior to the event. CAR ELIGIBILITY: Competition is open to all cars conforming to the GCR, as amended. ITO, IT7, IT7R, CF, SPO, SPU, SMSE, MXP will compete under the SEDiv approved rules. ALL CARS ARE REQUIRED TO USE FULLY FUNCTIONAL AMB TRANSPONDERS. Effective 3/3/17, each car shall display the Summit official SCCA field logo as shown in GCR figure 4, 9.3.28.C. Improved Touring EZ Regional Class; The purpose of IT EZ is to create a regional class where cars built for ChumpCar, or similar endurance racing series will have a place to race on an SCCA Regional race weekend. As opposed to any other class of SCCA road racing, IT EZ competition is designed as a fun run class, without regards to balance of performance, or classes within the series; class distinctions within the various series will not be enforced. IT EZ is designed to provide a way for drivers to earn an SCCA racing license and race in regional competition, with the absolute lowest cost vehicle. Drivers must meet driver requirements as listed above in the DRIVER ELIGIBILITY paragraph of these Supplemental Regulations. Waivers will not be considered or granted in areas regarding safety of vehicle or driver. Decision of officials with regard to safety elements are final and not protestable. GCR 9.3.6. APPEARANCE NEAT AND CLEAN, will be waived for this class. IT EZ vehicles may race with minor prior accident damage, as long as that prior damage does not create a danger to the driver of that vehicle, fellow competitors, or course marshals. Non functional additions to vehicles, whose primary purpose is to express creativity or a theme, are not allowed. IT EZ eligible vehicles must be a mass produced, gas or diesel powered, four wheel passenger car. Must meet or exceed safety requirements of GCR Section 9 for IT cars. Minimum weight of 1800 pounds and a maximum weight of 3500 pounds and a production based engine. Tires must conform to applicable Improved Touring rules, i.e., must be DOT rated tires, 130 ( H ) mph rated or faster. Wear dated tires are not mandated, but they may be used if the racer prefers. Preparation regarding brakes, suspension, and engine must meet either Chumpcar/Lemons/Other series type rules or SCCA Improved Touring rules. Logbooks will reflect meeting IT safety rules, and driver safety rules for competition. Eligibility of a vehicle for ITEZ will be at the discretion of the organizers. Points or trophies will not be awarded. ISE30 class: BMW Cars from a racing series for non M E30Cars produced between 1987 and 1991. At a minimum, these cars must conform to the safety requirements of the IT category, and drivers shall have a copy of their car preparation specification in their possession. R1 & R2 Classes: For cars eligible to compete in sanctioned competition other than SCCA, but for which there is not an existing SCCA class. The cars must conform to the safety requirements of the IT category as a minimum. The cars must use DOT tires. The distinction between R1 & R2 will be determined solely by engine displacement. R1 will be for cars 2.8 liters and larger. R2 will be for cars with displacement less than 2.8 liters. Eligibility of a car for R1 or R2 will be at the discretion of the organizers. ISE30, R1 and R2 are not eligible for SARRC points.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS Sanction No. 17-R-4733-S GTT Regional Class; GT Race vehicles, similar to GTA, but with truck appearing bodywork from the Southern Pro Am Truck Series. Series Rules are located at http://southernprotrucks.com/. Trucks must meet all applicable safety rules from the GCR, Section 9.3, GENERAL TECHNICAL AND SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS, starting on Page 86. Drivers must meet driver requirements as listed above in the DRIVER ELIGIBILITY paragraph of these Supplemental Regulations. VEHICLE LOGBOOKS; Each vehicle shall have a complete and up-to-date SCCA issued logbook per GCR 9.2.1. Each competitor must have a copy of their series rule in their possession. SARRC DESIGNATION: SARRC patches must be worn on the driver s suit above or below the SCCA patch or in the same area on the side opposite the SCCA patch. SARRC decals must be displayed on each side of the car. QUALIFYING/GRID POSITIONS: Cars will be gridded for the Sprint races based on the fastest time recorded for the car and driver during the Saturday qualifying session. The Car/Driver combination will be gridded for the Feature races based on the fastest time recorded during either the qualifying sessions or the Sprint races. Grid position is earned and assigned on the car/driver combination; second drivers without a qualifying time must start from the back of the grid. Contingency Programs; the results from the Feature races will be considered to be those included in any contingency program. SCALES: Will be available at Tech Saturday 10:00 am 2:00 pm., or at other times at the discretion of the Chief of Tech. IMPOUND: The first three (3) finishers in each class for the SARRC Sprint and Feature races must report to impound immediately following the completion of their race. Cars will be weighed and impounded for a minimum of twenty (20) minutes for Sprint Races, and thirty (30) minutes for the Feature Races. TIMING & SCORING: Driver changes must be made prior to the start of the first race each day, will be assessed a $50 late fee, and must be coordinated through Registration. TECH: All drivers must present equipment and vehicle logbook as required by the GCR to TECH. EVENT SCHEDULE/RUN GROUPS: The event schedule or run groups may be changed at the discretion of the Chief Steward, with concurrence by the Race Chair, depending on pre-race entry counts or as needed to accommodate situations that may be encountered during the event. If changes are made prior to the start of the event, as much notice as possible will be given to all affected competitors. PIT LANE: Pit lane speed shall not exceed 40 mph. Violators may be penalized. CLOTHING: Closed toe shoes are required on the grid and over the wall on pit lane. Crew members on pit lane must display their event credentials at all times while on pit lane. PACE/SAFETY CAR: In addition to GCR 6.6.2. The field shall follow the PACE / SAFETY CAR as long as its emergency lights are flashing, even if it varies from the normal race course. SOUND CONTROL: For informational purposes, sound readings, if available, will be posted at the base of the tower. RADIO FREQUENCIES: CFR operates on frequencies 464.525, 464.975, 464.675, and 464.825. These frequencies are guarded and not to be used by any competitor or visitor. INSURANCE: Participant insurance will be provided in at least the minimum amounts required by the SCCA. RESULTS: Qualifying, provisional and final results will be posted at the base of the Timing and Scoring Tower. Drivers may obtain a copy of the final results from Tech. Final results will be posted to the CFR website, www.cfrscca.org, no later than 7 days following the completion of the event. COURSE: Sebring International Raceway is a 3.7 mile road course. Pit and Paddock will be located on the 12 hour side. Absolutely no unauthorized access to the course after hours will be permitted. Drivers failing to negotiate Turn 15 must slow before entering Turn 16 as to not gain advantage; may incur a penalty from the Operating Steward. Note; for races, cars will be split immediately upon entering the course from the false grid Be Alert! PADDOCK: Failure to follow the direction of the Paddock Marshal or CFR Race Officials regarding paddock parking or activities may result in expulsion from the facilities. Do not park parallel to major infield roads. PROVISIONS: Camping is allowed in the paddock on Friday and Saturday nights. Water and electricity are available in limited areas of the paddock. A $20 charge for electricity may be assessed. Fuel will be available at the track. TROPHY: Trophies will be awarded to the winners of both Sprint and Feature races in accordance with the GCR. Location of trophy pickup will be at Impound. Trophies may be distributed based on provisional race results. EMERGENCY CALLS: CFR has an emergency number at the track (863) 655-3033. In case of emergency and you can not reach this number, call the Highlands County Sheriff Office at (863) 385-5111. Inform the Sheriff s office that the party you need to get in touch with is at Sebring International Raceway. GENERAL RULES: The consumption of alcoholic beverages in the facility is forbidden until all racing activities have concluded for the day. ATV's are permitted in certain areas provided they are used in a safe manner and operated ONLY by licensed drivers. Bicycles may be used only by race officials and responsible adults. SARRC Points Waiver This form is to be used by any driver who is entered in a South Atlantic Road Race Series (SARRC) Regional race and wishes to waive points for the event. By properly completing this form, the driver agrees he is waiving his finishing position and all points for the race. The results for the race will show that a waiver was filed. All drivers finishing in a lower position will be moved up. The driver will receive a credit for the race for license renewal purposes. The applicable SARRC rule is: 7.6: A driver may waive points for any SARRC race except the SIC. The driver must notify the Chief of Tech in writing and execute an impound waiver request prior to qualifying for the SARRC race. This waiver must be approved by the event Chief Steward or his designate. The driver waives a finishing position and all SARRC points. 1. This waiver must be completed by the driver prior to qualifying and signed by the Chief of Tech or designate. 2. Tech will file this waiver with the Chief Steward or his designate for approval. The Chief Steward will advise tech if the car is to report to post race impound and so note. 3. The Chief Steward will deliver this waiver to T & S and be responsible for insuring that results properly reflect the waiver. 4. A copy of the waiver will be retained by T & S for later verification.
