The True Facts about College Athletic Recruiting College Athletic Recruiting: Everyone wants to give advice and everyone believes they know all the answers! Finally, a program that does just that! It gives the answers in a straightforward, no nonsense, entertaining 50-minute presentation. We have made an investment as a community to provide our studentathletes and parents with information about playing college athletics. This event is designed for every high school parent and their student-athlete. If your son or daughter truly has aspirations to play at the college level, this is a "can't miss" event. Attention all students interested in playing a Spring sport this year - sign up sheets are available in the Athletic Office. You must have a physical form on file in the athletic office in order to tryout or practice on March 13th. Students must pass 4 of 6 classes during 2nd trimester to be academically eligible to participate in a Spring sport. The spring sports include: Baseball Softball Girls Tennis Boys Golf Girls Soccer Boys/Girls Track
Any girl interested in running, jumping, or throwing as part of the varsity girl's track team this spring should plan to attend an informational meeting on today, March 6th at 3 p.m. in the health room. Applications are now available for the 1st annual Maple Mock Rock! What is Maple Mock Rock you ask? It is a lip-sync battle style competition for groups or individuals at Adrian High School. Grab your friends, classmates, teammates, or club members and create a lip-synced, choreographed dance routine to your favorite, schoolappropriate song. There will be awesome prizes for the winners and the runners-up. Maple Mock Rock is Saturday, March 11th in the PAC, so pick up your application from Mrs. Rudolph in A124 now! Congratulations to the 2017 Forensics team! Here are the results from the First All County Forensic Scrimmage. In Extemporaneous, Crosby Slupe took first place and Lexus Smith placed 3rd. In Storytelling Gabby Terrones finished in third place. In Impromptu Cameron Kuhn and Lyla Slupe took first place. Multiple, it was Crosby Slupe, Cameron Kuhn, Lylah Slupe, Mercedes Polley and Ben Popejoy placed first and Lexus Smith, Lizzy Lawrence, Lizette Nava, and Larissa Sanchez took third. Humorous Interpretation it was Crosby Slupe placing first. Humorous Duo was Mercedes Polley and Ben Popejoy taking third place. In Prose, Gabby Terrones placed third. Dramatic Interpretation, it was Lylah Slupe finishing in First place. Great Job Everyone!!!
