WIRE ROAD SOCCER COMPLEX EXPANSION

The mission of Auburn Soccer Association is to provide competitive and recreational youth soccer opportunities by offering a challenging and educational program, while developing a lifelong passion for the sport in all of our athletes. Our program is dedicated to the development of both individual and team skills while emphasizing leadership, character, good sportsmanship, and commitment to compete at the highest level of desired play. MISSION STATEMENT

WE PLAY THE RIGHT WAY We uphold the true values of the game-not just on the field, but off it too. We are committed to supporting and improving our community. WE GROW TALENT We turn potential into excellence, and strive to produce technically gifted players in a fun, challenging, and positive learning environment. WE RE FORWARD THINKING We will be successful tomorrow, as well as today. We spend our time and money wisely, and invest sensibly in the future. WE PUSH THE BOUNDARIES We lead, not follow. We constantly innovate beyond the expected in every aspect of our association and invest in quality training facilities. WE NEVER STOP We constantly strive to be better in everything we do. Whatever the circumstances, whatever the pressure, we never stop believing in who we are and how we do things. We never stop moving forward.

To create a program that offers many different resources for the development of young players while also providing a fun environment in which to learn. To continue to achieve this goal we must expand the current facility. OUR VISION

SOCCER: GROWING IN POPULARITY

WE HAVE A PLAN

PHASE 1 CURRENT HOME

PHASE 2 PHASE 1 PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS

PHASE 2 PHASE 3 PHASE 1 PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS

200 x 120 Playing Surface Currently the closest indoor facilities are in Columbus and Montgomery. They are booked solid every hour they are open. Large revenue potential. INDOOR FACILITY

Growing Auburn population. Popularity of soccer continues to outpace population growth as well as increasing popularity amongst the youth of Auburn. Extra space will enable continued growth and participation. Extra space means more possible revenue opportunities with more tournaments. The Indoor Facility (Phase 3) allows for more leagues, community growth, and additional revenue opportunities. COMMUNITY IMPACT

PROGRESS SO FAR We have raised over $400,000.00 In October 2015 we added lights to Field 1 to increase playing surface. After this project we are left with $290,000.00.

The land needed is already owned by the city. Land has been cleared, surveyed, and is ready to be graded. WE ARE READY

The current 5 mil tax previously used for Parks and Recreation priorities is now used exclusively for school issues and will not be available for field and infrastructure expansion for thirty years. Raising money is our only means to this end. PUBLIC FUNDING

Phase 2 cost was bid at $2,182,793.50 in 2013. Phase 3 cost was bid at $1,819,528.00. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

LEAGUE MOTTO I am honest in competition. a I am humble in victory. A a I accept defeat without envy. a I have an attitude of sportsmanship.

GROW WITH US Your support ensures that the Auburn Soccer Association continues to offer the children in our community a safe place to have fun, make friends, and mature as athletes and young people. There is team with a place for everyone.
