2 Prince Of Rivers jumped awkwardly and lost ground (L) Geegees Brightstar was slow into stride (L) Don t We Love It shifted in at the start bumping with Geegees Baritone whic h lost ground Near the 8 metres Debauche shifted in slightly and brushed Geegees Brightstar resulting in Debauche becoming unbalanced Near the 25 metres Debauche was restrained after shifting out towards the heels of Don t We Love It David Pires r ider of Debauche which performed below expectations explained that the filly failed to respond to his riding from the 4 metres He further added that in his opinion the filly may require a brief let up Subsequent to the race Michael Guthrie rider of f ourth placegetter Don t We Love It became indisposed and unable to weigh in As Stewards were satisfied that Mr Guthrie had weighed out correctly and returned with all the gear with which he weighed out correct weight was declared RACE 2 BETFAIR 2YO & UPWARDS MAIDEN PLATE DIV Regal Quality which had not raced for over 2 years underwent a veterinary examination and was passed fit to race The start of this race was delayed 5 minutes to allow jockeys to participate in a meeting with t he Australian Jockey Association representative s Following a report from the starter that Our Lucky Girl proved difficult to load and further delayed the start connections were advised that a warning has been placed on the filly s barrier manners Fami ly Ty Momentofsurrender and Little Sheeka were all slightly slow to begin Mel The Parrot jumped out at the start carrying Lavella and Flash Bee wider on the track Approaching the 6 metres Flash Bee was restrained off the heels of Lavella Jason Lyo n rider of Our Lucky Girl accident ally dropped his whip near the 5 metres David Pires rider of Kenbiki which performed below expectations explained that the filly failed to respond to his riding from the 4 metres RACE ACCESS HARDWARE 2YO & UPWA
RDS MAIDEN PLATE DIV 2 The start of this race was re scheduled to commence at 252 pm due to a further meeting between jockeys and the AJA representative s Marresi jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin (L) So Much Fun was hampered shortly after the start when Extravagant Eagle shifted ground outwards Marresi layed in when under pressure in the home straight Daniel Ganderton rider of Extravagant Eagle reported that his saddle slipped sideways shortly after the start placing him at a disadvantage from that point David Pires rider of Speed Buzz which performed below expectations could offer no tangible explanation for today s performance other that the filly failed to respond to his riding and may not have handled the track condi tions today He further added that in his opinion the filly may require a brief let up RACE 4 LAUNCESTON MITSUBISHI MAIDEN/CLASS PLATE 6 Commanderbrae Halo was slow to begin (L) Shortly after the start Weekend Winner was tightened fo r room between My Nett and Gocarma which shifted out slightly Jason Lyon rider of Zagan which was uncompetitive for the majority of the race explained that during the race the gelding made a respiratory noise which may have had a bearing on its performan ce A post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities Sherry Barr rider of Zabibo was harmlessly dislodged on pulling up Chantal Willis rider of Gotta Have Vibe which performed below expectations explained that in her view the mare made a respiratory noise during the race which may have contributed to the performance A post
