Since the police cannot be all places all the time, the residential Neighborhood Watch is made up of residents who act as extra eyes and ears in the community while going about their daily business. For more information on the residential Neighborhood Watch contact Susanne Morris at neighborhoodwatch@eagleharboronline.com or Deputy Keith Smith at ksmith@claysheriff.com. HOW DOES A NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH WORK? Each neighborhood consists of a Neighborhood Captain and several Block Captains. The Neighborhood Captain is a liaison between the Clay County Sheriff's Office and the neighborhood. He/she oversees the start up of the Neighborhood Watch in that subdivision and supports the Block Captains. All volunteers attend an hour long training session with a Sheriff's deputy. Once the neighborhood volunteers are trained and organized, a Neighborhood Watch sign is placed at the neighborhood entrance. CP053A If you are interested in volunteering for your neighborhood, contact Susanne Morris at neighborhoodwatch@eagleharboronline.com. The following neighborhoods still need volunteers: Brookstone Eagle Cove Eagle Watch Daniel's Landing Fiddler's Ridge Harbor Lake Hawk's Nest Lookout Landing Player's Club Rivergate Stoney Glen Water's Edge Woodlake The Neighborhood Watch would like to introduce all the Neighborhood Captains: Bridgewater Jane Bachtell Cape May David Mellot Commodore Point Marty Schnabel Country Walk Brian & Virginia Henry Cypress Creek Jim Dvorak Eagle Creek Jim Dvorak Fairway Ridge Nina Bielawski Heron Bay Barbara Bennett/ Robert & Celie Meadows Holmes Landing Gina Waterhouse Keaton Chase Marty & Joyce Engelken Lakeway Lee DiGiovanni Linkside Mary Holtcamp Pinecrest Jack Fitzpatrick Pine Lakes Pat Dobbs River Trace Gene Russin Roland's Way Robert & Christy Surgeoner Salt Creek Jim Dvorak Sandy Springs Dave Wall Shelter Cove David & Ginger Leinecker Spring Creek Jim Dvorak Stone Creek Evelyn Gresham/Barbara Cowart Southbrook Jim & Carla Ziegener Sunset Point Bill McFarland The Enclave Dom Bello/Jim Wood The Preserve Ron & Carole Kos Timber Woods Frank & Joanne Letorre Walnut Creek Terry & Cindy Horan Ward's Landing Sandy Goldman & Nina Hemmelgarn Water Crest Joy Campbell Waterford Landing Chris & Kris Ravenscroft These volunteers have committed to the Neighborhood Watch, recruited the necessary volunteers and attended training with the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
