Our 50/50 raffle winner was Jared Martel who won $230 at the event. We would like to thank everyone that came out to support Trinity and helped make our fundraiser a success! A great big thanks to all who put forth their time and effort to plan this event and all of the wonderful volunteers who helped the day to run smoothly.

BOYS BASKETBALL Trinity played a great game against Holy Spirit, winning 32-28. The kids played great both on offense and on defense, as they played with high energy and poise. We are very proud of them! BOOK FAIR It s book fair time and we are looking for volunteers. Please go to the following link to volunteer: http://vols.pt/mwe6r8

Prices: Kids long sleeved shirt - $15 Kids sweatshirt - $20 Mens/Womens athletic pull-over - $35 Mens embroidered sweatshirt - $40 CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK We had a great time celebrating Catholic Schools last week. The PTO Spaghetti Dinner and Fun Day provided a wonderful kickoff for the week. The children attending the event really enjoyed the games. Throughout the week, the students participated in activities linked to an Olympic Theme. We had a variety of sports represented on Monday. One of the hits of the week was Grandparents Day. We are so thankful to all the Grandparents that spent the morning with us and attended our Mass with the Bishop. It was truly a highlight of our week! Wednesday the children enjoyed their movie and treats in the morning. Another highlight of our week was attending the Mass at Shanley with the other schools. It was great for the children to see all of the children in our Catholic Schools! That afternoon they read with friends, teachers, and classroom "buddies." Our week finished with our own version of the Olympics.

FUTURE ACTIVITIES We have some exciting opportunities in which our students will get to participate. Our third graders will be making a pilgrimage to the Holy Door at St. Mary s Cathedral on February 22. These students will also be attending the Chrism Mass in which the oils are blessed on March 22. Our first graders will be receiving flags from the Tri-State Veterans on February 23. This will allow the students to have the opportunity to learn more about the Veterans and the service provided to our country. We are looking forward to our Grade 1-5 music concert on March 15 at 6:00 PM. The Little Deacons- Kindergarten students will have their spring concert on May 5 at 6:00 PM. All students will participate in our Passion Play on March 23 at 11:30. Further information on these events will be provided as they get closer.

SUMMER ADVENTURE PROGRAM Trinity will be hosting the Summer Adventure Program from May 31-August 12 for current PK-5 students. This is a camp type of program that is available from 7:30 AM -5:30 PM from Monday through Friday. The coordinator of the program at Trinity is Rachel Nistler. Rachel assisted with the program at Holy Spirit last year. The program is set up in weekly themes which allows students flexibility for attendance. Registrations for the Summer Adventure Program are made through Lori Hager. If you have questions about the program, please feel free to contact Rachel at Rachel.Nistler@jp2schools.org.
