Presentation, description -pole thermal overload relays TeSys D Presentation TeSys D thermal overload relays are designed to protect a.c. circuits and motors against: b overloads, b phase failure, b excessively long starting times, b prolonged stalled rotor condition. LRD 0 Power connection LRD 0 to LRD LRD 0 to relays are designed for connection by screw clamp terminals. They can be supplied for connection by spring terminals or by lugs (). LRD to LRD LRD to relays are for connection by BTR screw connectors (hexagon socket head). The screws are tightened by means of a size, insulated Allen key. This type of connection uses the EverLink system with creep compensation () (Schneider Electric patent). This technique makes it possible to achieve accurate and durable tightening torque. LRD These relays are also available for connection by lugs (). LRD to, LR D to D LRD to and LR D to D relays are designed for connection by screw clamp terminals. They can be supplied for connection by lugs (). LRD pp Description RESET, 0 STOP LRD 0 and LRD LRD TEST A 0 R M A E S E T NO NC, TeSys D -pole thermal overload relays are designed to protect a.c. circuits and motors against overloads, phase failure, long starting times and prolonged stalling of the motor. Adjustment dial Ir. Test button. Operation of the Test button allows: - checking of control circuit wiring, - simulation of relay tripping (actuates both the N/O and N/C contacts). Stop button. Actuates the N/C contact; does not affect the N/O contact. Reset button. Trip indicator. Setting locked by sealing the cover. Selector for manual or automatic reset. LRD 0 to and LRD to LRD relays are supplied with the selector in the manual position, protected by a cover. Deliberate action is required to move it to the automatic position. LRD, LR D 0 () Connection by lugs meets the requirements of certain Asian markets and is suitable for applications subject to strong vibration, such as railway transport. () Creep: normal crushing phenomenon of copper conductors, that is accentuated over time. References: pages / and / Dimensions, mounting : pages / to / Schemes: page / version:. -EN.indd
