Second entry from the same family receive 10% discount on second entry. One Day Membership (for non-acds members) available for Dressage only at a cost of $25.00. To be able to participate in this event, drivers need to be a member of the Warwick Horse Trials ($16.50). EA members do not need to join but please include your EA # on entry form. EVENT AND VENUE DETAILS Dressage Dressage arena will be 100m x 40m for all classes. Classes: 1, 2, 3 & 17 ACDS Intermediate No.2 Classes: 13, 14, 15 & 16 Novice CC Classes: 4, 5 & 6 FEI 7a Class: 18 ACDS Novice No. 2 and/or Classes: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 FEI 6a ACDS Intermediate No. 1 Cones This will be conducted as a fault competition. Marathon - Classes 1 12 will complete a three section marathon course with 8MO s (approx 17km). Classes 13 16 will complete a three section marathon course with 6 MO s (approx 17km). The marathon obstacles can be inspected from 3:00pm Friday. The whole marathon course will be open for inspection from 8:30am Saturday. The marathon includes some undulating country. Marathon obstacles are both purpose built and natural. Ross Siemon Memorial Cup Competitors doing the Ross Siemon Memorial Cup must be ACDS members and registered for it. Catering Saturday Night at Warwick RSL, details TBA. There is no catering at the event. Camping and Facilities There is plenty of camping space at Morgan Park as well as showers, toilets and yards. Event organizers are grateful to the Warwick Horse Trials and the Environmental Protection Agency for the use of their facilities. Dogs Absolutely NO DOGS ALLOWED! (WHT Regulation). Prizes and Ribbons Ribbons will be awarded for the first four places in each class and competition (dressage, cones and marathon). Prizes donated by Coprice and other sponsors. Perpetual Trophies 1. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY "This event will be judged under the F.E.I. Rules for Driving Events as at 1 st August 2013 with ACDS variations and additional regulations included in this schedule." Drivers must be ACDS members. Club Receipts or current Membership Cards must be shown to receive Competitors Kits. All horses must be registered with the ACDS. If you have an unregistered horse you will need to complete a registration form and send it with $10 to your club secretary who will receipt it and then send it to Sue Waters. The receipt or registration card will be required to be able to compete in the full CDE. All competitors and their navigators/grooms compete at their own risk. The organising committee and land holders accept no responsibility for loss or damage to horses, owners, passengers, equipment, drivers, grooms or spectators, or any other person or property whatsoever, whilst at or near the venue, during the course of this event. All competitors, by entering this event, agree to be bound by this regulation. All junior drivers between 12 and 18 years must be accompanied by a capable groom 18 years or over in all phases of the competition. Whenever a junior is in a vehicle they must be wearing an equestrian type helmet that complies with one of the three standards below, whether they be members or non members. Whenever a horse is harnessed to a vehicle, an ACDS member who is capable of driving, must be in the vehicle holding the reins. Appeals, together with $20, are to be lodged in writing within 30 minutes of the scores being posted for each phase. Money may be refunded unless, in the opinion of the Appeals Committee, the appeal is found to be frivolous. The organisers reserve the right to: * Alter any advertised times; * Refuse any entry, with or without stating the reason; * Measure any horse or pony upon discretion * Reallocate a competitor to the appropriate class Entry fees must accompany nominations. The event will be run on time. Any competitor late for a scheduled starting time will be awarded time penalties. In the event of an accident, or any other occurrence beyond the control of the competitor, contact the Secretary to arrange an alternate starting time. Organisers reserve the right to penalize competitors for unsafe practices. The wearing of equestrian helmets complying with one of the three standards listed below and on the entry form is mandatory in the marathon and medical arm bands are recommended. Equestrian helmets standards 1. AS/NZS 3838, 2. European Standard EN1384, 3. United States Standard ASTN F1163 It is a condition of entry that competitors hand to the organisers a Horse Health Declaration Form before you receive your competitors kit.
