~ THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SUPPORT WORTH COUNTY RAM FOOTBALL ~ Worth County Rams Athletic Director & Coach Coach Carroll is a native of Greenville, Florida in Madison County where he graduated high school. He then graduated from Ashford University in Iowa. He has coached for 40 years starting at Greenville High and Greenville Middle School from 1976 to 1995 in Greenville Florida. He then was Junior Varsity Head football coach at Madison County High School in Madison, Florida from 1995 to 2002. He became Head Varsity Football Coach and Athletic Director in 2002 until 2009 at Madison County High where they played for three state championships winning in 2007. He was Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Pelham High School from 2011-2015. He is married to Dela Vann Carroll, and they have two children- Rebecca (married to Gary Wambolt) and Jeremy (married to Stephanie Adams), four grandchildren, Ashton-12, Lexi-9, Kylie-6, and Maddie-1 year old. Head Coach Jason Tone Head football coach Jason Tone brings a wealth of state championship coaching experience to the Worth County football program, having won three state titles at Lowndes (1999, 2004, and 2005), and two titles at Camden (2008, 2009). He received his Health and PE degree from Valdosta State University in 2003, a Masters in Foundations of Education from Troy University in 2005, and his Specialist in Educational Leadership from Cambridge University in 2006. He and his wife Emily, who teaches third grade English Language Arts at Worth County Elementary School, are the parents of Jordan, 7, and Isaac, 3. Coach Tone will be entering his fourth year as Head Coach of the Rams. COACHES CORNER Scott Frederick Coach "Fred" returns to Worth County for his 2nd season after a 15 year absence to coach the Rams secondary in 2016. He is a native of Tifton, GA and a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Health/PE. In addition, he is a former U.S. Army Officer (Infantry) and a veteran of Desert Storm. After leaving Worth County in 2000, he served as a head coach and/or assistant coach in football and baseball at Columbus, Wayne County, Appling County, White County, Bacon County and Banks County. In his 29th year of coaching, he will coach the Defensive Backs. Scott is married to the former Candice Roper of Dublin, Ga and they have 6 children. Kristen (27), Kevin (25), Collin (23), Caroline (18), Hanna (15) and Karissa (13). Will McPherson Will McPherson is entering his first year with the Worth County football program as a Varsity coach for the offensive line, specifically tackles and tight ends. His football career begins in Lowndes County. McPherson is a graduate of Lowndes High School. In 2004 and 2005, he performed as a starting tackle, leading to state championships both years. Following graduation, McPherson transitioned to coaching offensive line and defensive line at Hahira Middle School for three years, while pursuing his college degree. After graduating from Troy University, McPherson s journey continued at Camden County High School, where he coached Freshmen and Junior Varsity offensive line under the leadership of Welton Coffey. McPherson looks forward to working with the Rams this season, receiving the opportunity to work with current head coach, Jason Tone, again. The Martin News 272-4356 or 776-6269 info@themartinnews.com Dustin Heard Offensive Line Coach Dustin Heard is a graduate of Thomas County Central High School, but he is hardly a stranger to Worth County. Coach Heard spent his formative years in the Worth County School System, as both his parents are former educators in the system and his father coached Ram football under Bobby McAllister in the 90 s. A 2011 graduate of Thomas University, Coach Heard will be teaching social studies at WCHS. He is married to the former Tiffany Poppell. They have a 2 year old son named Tristan. Dustin Larkin Coach Dustin Larkin starts his seventh season coaching football and his first here with the Rams. Prior to coming to Worth County Larkin spent time at Camden County, Marianna and Chipley High Schools. A native of Marianna, Florida Larkin graduated from Marianna High School in 2009. He earned his B.A. degree in Elementary Education from Chipola College and a M.Ed. Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University. Larkin is married to the former JoAnna Peters.

Drake MaCauley A stand-out prep player, Split Ends coach Drake McCauley is the career leader in receptions and receiving yards at Franklin County High School. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2012 with a degree in Sports Management. Coach McCauley teaches Math and coaches track in addition to his football duties. This is his 4 th year in the Worth County football program. COACHES CORNER Steven Siegmund Defensive Coordinator and linebackers coach Dr. Steven Siegmund is a native of Minnetonka, Minnesota. He received his undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education from St. Cloud State University, his Masters in Education from West Georgia State University and his Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University. He comes to Worth County from the Banks County School System, but has also taught and coached at Camden County, Lithia Springs, and Walton High School in Cobb County. He will also coach the track team at WCHS. G O Masai Dalton Masai Dalton is in his first year at Worth County High School, where he teaches History and coaches the safeties. He also coaches middle school basketball. Prior to Worth County, Dalton spent four years at Tiftarea Academy where he coached defensive backs and running backs. Coach Dalton is a US Army veteran, having served on active duty from 2004 until 2015. Coach Dalton has multiple deployments to Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. Coach Dalton reached the position of First Sergeant and has been awarded the Bronze Star among numerous other decorations A native of Seneca, S.C., Dalton graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Business Management. He is married to the former Caroline Welch of Kershaw, S.C., the couple has two children. A son, Deuce and a daughter, Gloria. Ken Eldridge First year to the Worth County Rams, Coach Eldridge brings over 20 years of coaching expertise to the team. He graduated college from Valdosta State University. His coaching career includes Atkinson County High School 1995-1997 (QB s and DB s), Jeff Davis County High School 1998 2002 (QB s, DB s, Defensive Coordinator), Coffee High School 2003 2011 (RB s, DB s, Defensive Coordinator, Head Coach), Valdosta High School 2012 (TE s, Special Teams Coordinator) and Swainsboro High School 2013 2015 (Head Coach). It is so much fun going to the Ram Football Games on Friday Nights in our little town of Sylvester. The players are excited to play and the fan are excited to cheer them on. The band sounds great and the food smells awesome! The Cheerleaders are cheering loud and everyone is enjoying the game. But what about the announcers in the press box? You got it, they have a hard job keeping us all entertained with the play by plays and updating us on the proud Ram moments. You never know when you may hear your child s name called from a moment that we can all be proud of our Ram students so when you see the announcers, tell them Thanks for a job well done! We love to hear our Sylvester Football Game Announcers!

Worth County High School Marching Ram Band Michelle Miki Hutchinson has taught in the Worth County School System for 24 years. After 16 years of teaching music in the elementary grades, she began teaching choral music at Worth County High School in 2006. Her choirs have performed at Columbus State University, Southern Star Music Festival, Georgia Music Educators In-Service Conference, the Savannah Music Festival, and on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship, Sovereign of the Seas. While at WCHS she has also taught music appreciation and started a beginning guitar class. During her first year as band director at Worth County High School, the band s size has doubled from recent years. The Ram Band received Superior ratings at the 2012 GMEA District 2 Large Group Performance Evaluation. Miki holds an MME from Auburn University and a BME from Columbus State University. She was named 2009 STAR Teacher at WCHS. She is a member of Georgia Music Educators Association. Miki is a graduate of Worth County High School and was drum major in the WCHS Band, under the direction of Eugene H. Wyles. She calls Sylvester her home. Her son, Devin, is a graduate of Georgia Southern University. Want To See A Band Parent?? If you want to see a band parent on Friday Night, you would probably have to visit them in the Concessions Stands. The Worth County Marching Ram Band Boosters handles the concession stands during Friday Night Football Games. Please show your support and get you some good ole hot dogs, nachos, candies or drinks. Thank you for all your support and thank you band boosters and parents for all you do for a Mighty Fine Marching Ram Band!
