With these issues coming more of a focus for all areas of society, the World Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development (SWSD) 2018 will explore this emerging society through the theme Environmental and Community Sustainability: Human Solutions in Evolving Societies, with particular focus on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) laid out by the United Nations. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, at the press conference unveiling the SDG s, said that We will need all partners to make this a success. Multistakeholder partnerships, involving government, the private sector and civil society, have been described as the glue that will hold this process together, and will be the only way of ensuring these incredibly ambitious goals are met. There are simple sponsorship and exhibitor packages contained in this prospectus, but we would highly encourage you to get in contact with us if you have a unique idea to show our delegates, or indeed are not the type of organisation to exhibit at a conference due to budgetary restraints. Our goal is to facilitate advancement in our society through facilitating new thinking within the conference venue, and help it spread beyond the four walls once the delegates return to their respective nations we will work to accommodate anyone that helps us do that. We expect 2,500-3,000 delegates from around the world (primarily from Europe, Asia and US) to come to Dublin, and will mainly be from the public sector, academia, private organisations, charity workers, NGO s etc. These are people that, through the work they do every day on the front line of social change, will subtly direct the way our society moves over the coming decades we hope that you can help support that work and work towards achieving your own goals through partnering with SWSD 2018. Destination: Dublin Dublin is the capital city of Ireland. The conference scientific programme aims to build on the successes of the previous world conferences with sub-themes built around the United Nations goals on sustainable development.
