Welcome Welcome to G-Force Cheer! This past season has been very rewarding for all teams and we are beyond excited to start our 3 rd season! At G- Force Cheer your athlete will learn so much more than just the aspects of cheerleading. You athlete will learn teamwork, leadership, discipline, responsibility, and sportsmanship. All great skills to that can be utilized in everyday life! We look forward to a great season and thank you for choosing G-Force Cheer! Attendance Policy Competitive all-star cheerleading is a TEAM sport. EACH athlete plays an important role in the routine. Attendance is key to a well-executed routine. Most dates are given to you well in advance and should take priority. An absence record will be kept for each athlete through our Jackrabbit software system. Any absences beyond three (3) will be grounds for dismissal with absolutely no refunds. We understand that you can not attend every practice. That is why we allow up to three (3) absences. Whether you are absent for illness, school event, funeral, etc. Please choose your absences wisely. Absolutely no absences are allowed during these days: - Mandatory Skills Campo Full Year-** June 9 th -12 th**, Times TBA o Half Year- October 13 th -14 th Times TBA - Choreography Campo Full Year- expected around or between **Aug 13 th -26 th**. Exact days and times TBA o Half Year- October 27 th and 28 th Times TBA - 2 weeks before competition Absences- When an athlete will be absent, the parent and/or athlete are to: - Fill out absentee form 2 weeks prior to missed practice (available on our website) - Contact Fill In athlete/parent from Fill In list provided (list provided by team mom) - Make sure athlete s parent signs absentee form that they will be at your athlete s missed practice - A $10.00 fee will be charged to your account and given to the Fill In athlete s account. Sick- Athletes are to attend practice if they are sick. Athlete must provide a written doctor note that prevents them from active participation at practice. Athlete will sit out of practice, in the front and wear a mask to prevent spreading of germs. Injuries- If an athlete has an injury, the athlete must provide a written doctor note that prevents them from active participation at practice. With this note, the athlete still must attend practices to observe in the event any changes are being made during practices. They must attend practices to hold a spot on the team. When athlete returns from doctor s release, if athlete is not able to contribute to the team, they may be asked to switch to another team where the athlete can be utilized more OR to not compete until strength is built back up for athlete s safety. No refund given for injured athletes. Many reason play into part for this such as: fill in athlete needed, choreography changes, extra practices needed, roster change penalties, etc. Practices
IMPORTANT **Please note with Fayetteville location opening soon, you may be asked to practice at either or both Fayetteville & St. Paul s location. This is to help prevent late practices and weekend practices. This will help keep athletes and parents from getting burnt out or not be able to have family time. You are able to tumble at the location closest to you.** Full Year Teams During the summer, teams will practice once during the week and are required to attend one tumble each week. No weekend practices over the summer. There will be Free Open Gym to members over the summer. Tuition price does not change during the summer. After the Summer, teams will practice (2) times a week. Athlete is required to attend (1) one tumble class each week, which is included in your cheer tuition. Half Year Teams **You can register for half year teams June-September.** Practices begin in October. Teams will practice once during the week. Athlete is required to attend (1) one tumble class each week, which is included in your cheer tuition. Tuition does not vary based on number or duration of classes each month. During the season, extra practices are added to makeup for the practices over the summer. All closed dates, vacations, or time off has been included in the monthly fees. Extra practice- May be added at coach discretion at any time. We will try our best to at least give you a week notice to added/extra practice. Athletes are expected to be at all added practices. Added practices are needed when teams are not performing to their fullest potential, an injury occurs, athlete change, or routine improvements. Gym Etiquette-Only athletes, coaches, and staff are allowed in the gym area. No parents/guardians are allowed in the gym area. Any parent/guardian or family member that enters the gym area without permission yelling, cursing, waving, clapping, etc. will be asked to leave the facility immediately. If needed, an officer will be called to assist with the removal from facility. Coaches reserve the right to close practices at any time. Some reasons are: learning new material, parents disrupting concentration through viewing area. Negative speaking of a coach, routine, or other athlete. All athletes and parents are expected to respect the facility and help keep it clean. Absolutely no gum, food, candy, soda permitted in the gym area. Only water and sports drinks are allowed in gym area. Athlete must be dressed for practice in proper attire, no jewelry, hair out of face, with cheer shoes. Choreography Camp-Mandatory Full Year All athletes are required to attend their team s choreography camp. Choreography camp is usually mid to end of August. Final dates will be given within 1 week of try-outs. This season we will be doing a Choreographer Reveal. Once teams are made they will find out what D1 Top Gym will be doing their choreography! Half Year

Financial Policies A schedule of fees and payment due dates is listed under the 2018-2019 Fee Schedule. Parents and/or guardian will be asked to sign an acknowledgement of Financial Policies for the season and will be responsible for keeping his/her athlete account(s) current and in good standing. When registering, all accounts must have a bank account saved under their Jackrabbit software system. The ONLY exception is to pay account in full. Payment of all tuition and program fees will be made via automatic bank account draft. Monthly Tuition (see Schedule of Fees for pricing)- These fees are due and will be drafted on the 1 st of each month. Monthly fees are not prorated for any reason. Crossover Monthly Tuition- No additional charge Additional Power Tumble Class- Additional 1x week, 20.00 a month Paid in Full Discount- 15% off total regular monthly tuition for 12 months Sibling Discounts: 2 nd Child- 30% off regular monthly tuition 3 rd Child or more- each 50% off regular monthly tuition Competition Fees and Coaches Travel Fees- These fees are due and will be drafted on the dates given on the 2018-2019 Schedule of Fees. No discounts given on Competition Fees, Coaches Travel Fees. Any and Other Fees- These fees are due and drafted on the date listed in 2018-2019 Schedule of Fees. Invoices are available online. Any errors or concerns with invoices or payment must be directed to the Business Manager. Decline drafts will incur a direct 25.00 NSF fee. If payment is declined, alternate payment must be made in the form of cashier s check or cash within three (3) business days to the office. A late fee of 25.00 will be assessed for any payments made past the three (3) calendar days of due date. Failure to meet the deadline for payments, and lack of rational and fair communication regarding payment will result in probation of services, sitting out of practices, and/or dismissal from the program. Coaches reserve the right to replace the athlete if this happens. No exceptions. If your account is delinquent by more than ten (10) calendar days, G-Force Cheer reserves the right to: - Withhold services such as private lessons, classes, camps, clinics, etc. - Withhold uniforms, practice wear, shoes, bow, etc. - Withhold and preorder purchases or Pro-shop purchases, pictures Travel Expenses- All travel reservations, accommodations and/or plans are the sole responsibility of the athlete s parent/guardian unless otherwise noted by G-Force Cheer. G-Force Cheer is not responsible for reimbursing travel expenses to athletes or individuals in the unforeseen cancelling of events, athlete s loss of skills, injury or athlete s removal from the program.
Hotels- Some out of town competitions are Stay to Play and require that all travelers book a specific hotel through a designated travel agency. Athletes and parent will be notified of Stay to Play competitions in advance. You are able to request an Exemption if you are military. Though keep in mind, if we cancel a competition and you did not book with our Gym, G-Force Cheer is not responsible for any cancellation fees or reimbursements that you may receive for cancelling with your exemption hotel. Stay to Play, room blocks will be done by a travel agent to help offset stress and costs and make sure all our athletes stay together. Having athletes stay together creates an ultimate bonding experience with lifetime memories. Program Withdrawal or Dismissal A 30 day written notice is required should an athlete choose to leave the program at any time prior to the end of the season. Any fees that are due within the following 30 calendar days of receipt of written withdrawal notification, will be drafted from their account on the 30 th day. These fees include but are not limited to monthly tuition fees, competition or miscellaneous fees, or pre-ordered merchandise. **In addition to these fees due, for any athlete that leaves after their Routine Clinic and/ or Choreography Camp and prior to the end of the season will have a re-choreography fee drafted from withdrawal/dismissed, athletes account of 300.00. This is non-negotiable and is charged when the athlete leaves the program, regardless of if the athlete voluntarily withdrew or was dismissed.** Uniforms Uniform fitting is June 11 th & 12th, 2018. If Athlete s account must be in good standing to receive uniform. Athletes are expected to keep G-Force Cheer uniform, practice wear, shoes, warmups, and bow in good condition. Competition Schedule Competition schedule will be given after try-out/team announcements. Full Year Teams- will compete between 8-10 competitions this season. This may or may not include Bid competitions. Half Year & Tiny Teams- will compete between 5-6 competitions this season. This may or may not include Bid competitions. **The Competition is subject to change at ANYTIME.** Gym owner may change a competition at any given time for many reasons. Some include: already receiving a bid, an opportunity to receive a bid, competitors in the division, competition not doing a division split, etc. Competition Behavior & Dress Code Athletes and parents are expected to uphold good sportsmanship towards athletes, coaches, staff, event staff, fans, judges etc. at all competitions. Athletes, parents/guardians, family members must refrain from using any verbal or physical confrontation with anyone and refrain from celebrating the defeat of another person, team, or program.
All athletes must arrive at schedule meeting time, ready to compete. Hair and makeup should be completed prior to entering the event venue. At meeting time, full uniform and bow must be on. Absolutely no jewelry to include any piercing on the body. No fake or long nails, unless Senior team and approved by Gym Owner. Remove all nail polish besides clear and nude. Remove all items that are not cheer related to competition. Such as: cell phone, ipod, sunglasses, etc. No show socks with competition shoes on at all times while inside the competition venue. Have all braces, wraps, tapes pertaining to injuries prior to meeting coach for warmups. Cover any visible tattoos. No colored hair other than natural hair color unless approved by Gym Owner. Athlete is to remain in uniform, with no jewelry, and hair in Bow, AT ALL TIMES when at the competition venue. Even when not competing. If you are at a competition and competing with G-Force Cheer you are to remain in full uniform throughout the whole competition and awards. Only G-Force Cheer warmups or attire can be worn at competitions. Per USASF, athlete must cover midriffs when not on competition floor. Behavior & Social Media All athletes, parents and family must be respective and courteous to everyone. At all times athlete, parents and family are to represent good sportsmanship towards other parents, athletes, coaching staff, other teams and hosting organizations. If anyone is observed being negative, verbally assaulting, or threatening a team, athlete, parent, coach, staff member; he or she will be addressed and asked to leave or sit outside. If behavior continues, the athlete will be removed from the program. Grounds for immediate dismissal with absolutely no refunds: Negativity, gossip, hostility, or pettiness towards another athlete, parent, staff member. No athlete, parent may post anything related to disrespecting G-Force Cheer athletes, owner, coaches, staff, and parents on any social media, web or anywhere public. This includes but not limited to: Facebook, Facebook Group Pages, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Twitter, Google, Newspaper, Magazine, etc. This also includes inappropriate sexual/nude photos, photos showing drug or alcohol use, photos showing inappropriate language, gestures Any athlete or parent who post inappropriate comments, photos, etc. through social media or via text messaging will be grounds for immediate dismissal with absolutely no refunds. Absolutely NO BULLYING will be tolerated. This includes in person or on social media, group chats, or messages. Any athlete who bullies will be dismissed from the program with absolutely no refunds. No videos of routines or choreography can be posted on the web, social media, group pages or chats, text messages, etc. without gym owner permission. Our choreography, dance, jumps, tumble, etc. should be protected from others. Linked choreography allows other teams to see what skills/stunts we are competing with and will base their routine off of ours. Discipline If an athlete or parent/guardian compromises the expectations of G-Force Cheer, the following actions will occur: -1 st violation- Meeting with athlete and/or parent acknowledging the problem. -2 nd violation-meeting with parent.
-3 rd violation-removal from team or program. Communication Parents/guardians are responsible for checking all emails, group pages, group chats to find the most updated information. Each team will have a team mom. Your team mom will be responsible for getting important information out to you in a timely manner and assisting with keeping you up to date. Team mom will be your first contact for any questions about competitions, practices, extracurricular events, etc. Athletes are strongly discouraged to contact any coach or staff member directly through social media or text message for matters unrelated to absences, tardiness, emergencies, or injuries. For any questions or concerns, please use this form of chain of command: 1. Team Mom 2. Program Manager 3. Gym Supervisor 4. Gym Owner Please keep in mind Gym Owner will not respond directly to anyone without going through chain of command. Gym Supervisor or Program Manager will assist you in setting up a meeting with Gym Owner if your concerns are not resolved through chain of command. You are not to contact Gym Owner via phone, messaging, or social media at any given time. Logos & Proprietary Merchandise G-Force Cheer teams names and logos are considered proprietary, and may not be re-printed on any apparel and any other items for distribution or sale. All items will be sold through our apparel company. No soliciting. The sale or distribution of any outside products are not allowed at our facility without written permission from the Gym Owner.
