A copy of the installation instruction shall be available at the jobsite at all times during installation. Where conflicts occur, the more restrictive shall govern. 2.2 Adjustment Factors for conditions noted in Section 3.2 of this report and applicable codes shall be considered and applied to allowable loads. 2.3 All fasteners and connected wood members shall comply with Sections 4.2.2 and 4.2.3 of this report. 2.4 Use of connector products and fasteners in contact with fire-retardant-treated or preservative-treated lumber shall comply with Section 2304.9.5 of the 2009 IBC or Section R317.3 of the 2009 IRC (2006 IRC Section R319.3), as applicable. The report holder or lumber treater shall be contacted for recommendations on minimum corrosion resistance and connection capacities of fasteners used with the specific proprietary preservative-treated or fireretardant treated lumber. 2.5 Prior to product installation, calculations and details demonstrating compliance with this report shall be submitted to the code official. The calculations and details shall be prepared by a registered design professional where required by the statutes of the jurisdiction in which the project is to be constructed. Design loads shall be less than the allowable loads as indicated in Tables 1 through 10 of this report. 2.6 Periodic special inspection shall be: 1. Conducted when the ITW Construction Hardware products are components within the main windforce-resisting system of structures constructed in areas listed in Section 1705.10 of the 2012 IBC (Section 1706.1 of the 2009 IBC and Section 1705.4 of the 2006 IBC).
