The MoU enables close collaboration on area development, exploitation of possibilities around the major stadia in Delhi, development, maintenance and usage of de-central sports facilities. Both the Ministers decided to intensify the exchange of knowledge and experience between India and the Netherlands on the issues such as sports management, competition infrastructure setup and top-sport development through youth academies. The same day India Netherlands Business Association, the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Sports Authority of India jointly organized Indo-Dutch meet on public-private cooperation on Multipurpose Sports infrastructure and area development. SAI Opens its facilities to the Public Sports Authority of India has launched the Community Connect S c h e m e a t J L N Stadium, I G Sports Complex and the SPM Swimming Complex. It was inaugurated by Sh. Jitendra Singh, Hon'ble MOS (I/C) for Youth Affairs & Sports. The Community Connect Scheme envisages the use of various SAI Stadia for sports and recreational activities.
