Fawkner Soccer Club will be AGAIN holding a major Women s tournament in 2018. Therefore if you are an FFV registered club we would like to invite you to join us and be part of this exciting tournament. The tournament will be held over a 2-week period commencing Saturday the 6 th October and ending on Sunday the 14 th of October. Team Entrance fee is $150 The closing date for entries will be 5 th August 2018 or when spots are full. Should you decide to accept this invitation, we then request that you return the attached form ASAP to avoid missing out Once all entry forms have been received we will then finalize the groups and send you fixtures, a team sheet and a copy of the tournament rules. DURATION OF MATCHES For all matches, the duration will be as follows: U9/10 Girls 12 s Girls U13/14 s- 15/16 s 20 minute halves with 10 minute break 25 minute halves with 10-minute break 25 minute halves with 10-minute break 25 minute halves with 10-minute break First Team in the fixture draw is to supply Match Balls. All Teams to provide linesman for all Round Robin and Finals Matches TIME AND SCORE No extra time during round robin matches. Scoring during round robin matches, will be as follows 3 points for Win 1 point for Draw 0 point for Losing 3 points and 3 goals, Against Teams that Forfeits Matches. If Teams finish on equal points during Round Robin matches, or should these be equal, the Winner shall be decided as follows: The Team with greater number of goal differences, or should these be equal, The Team with greater number of goals scored, or should these be equal, Penalty Kicks will take place, as per FFV rules. For Semi Finals and Final matches if the game is a tie the results will be determined as follows: Extra time of 2 x 10 minute halves shall apply first. If the result is still a Tie after extra time, the match will be decided on Penalty Kicks, as per FFV rules
TEAMS / TEAM LIST & TEAM SHEET Sub-Junior & Junior (Number of Players): Under 9/10 girls can have a maximum of 14 players, with 9 players on the field at any one time. Under 12 s and over can have a maximum of 16 players, with 11 players on the field at any one time. Where there is a grouping of 4 teams or more with multiple groupings a 1st and 2nd Semi Final process of elimination matches may determine the finals match. Where there is a grouping of 3 teams or more with multiple groupings a single Semi Final process of elimination matches may determine the finals match. A player can only play for one team and one age group throughout the Tournament, including Semi Finals and Final matches. Players are not permitted to switch teams once they have been listed on a team sheet, irrespective if they have played any game time. Once a team sheet has been submitted, no additional players can be added or substituted from the original submitted team listing. All players must wear the designated number given to him / her as per the tournament team sheet for the duration of the tournament. All players are required to wear the same numbered top during all matches. All Teams must provide the Tournament, Co-ordinator with a Team List prior to the commencement of the Competition, one registration form per team for all matches (refer to attached copy). Clubs may only enter teams into the competition provided that the said team participated in the FFV or Interstate home and away fixture for this season. Clubs can invite 3 Guest players to participate in the Tournament; however it is the responsibility of each club to provide proof of age for Guest players. These players must be registered with the FFV or interstate governing body for the current season in order to allow them to play during the carnival. In the event that a club has more than one team in an age group or there is a colour clash and those teams play each other it is the responsibility of the away club to supply an alternative playing strip for one of those teams. It is recommended that each team carry with them a set of coloured training bibs. On the completion of each match each team must leave the ground immediately so to allow the following team s access to the ground. It is the responsibility of each team to be ready and on the playing pitch at the designated time. Failing to do so may result in the referee shortening the match so to keep all games on schedule. All clubs must provide the following proof of their player s age upon request by the tournament coordinator: FFV or FFA Endorsed ID card Team List endorsed by the Club Secretary, Copy of player s birth certificate or any other proof of age. (IF REQUESTED) Clubs who have more than one Team entered in the same age group must nominate their players for each team prior to the commencement of the competition.
CROWD CONTROL All Teams are responsible for their own supporter s behavior. Coaches, Team Managers and interchange players must remain in the Coaches Box during the match. Any incident involving any misconduct will be referred to the TOURNAMENT Co-ordinator, who will investigate the matter and his/her decision will be final. Any abuse to a match official will not be tolerated. Any teams who breach this may be dismissed from the tournament. SMALL SIDED FOOTBALL (SSF) U9 To restart play after a save or gathering the ball with their hands, the goalkeeper is not permitted to kick the ball directly from their hands. The ball must be thrown or rolled from the hands or played from the ground with their feet. Players must wear the same Top number in every match (throughout the Tournament).
