8. Classes And Participation WCup - W21, M21. Competitors aged 21 or older belong to each class from the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach the given age. All competitors represent a Federation. Each Federation may enter up to 6 women and 6 men in each individual competition. In the mixed sprint relay teams consist of one man and one woman (or two women). Each federation can have a maximum of 2 women s and 2 men s teams in relays and 6 teams in mixed sprint relays The organizing Federation may enter up to 2 additional national competitors (National Group) for the competition ESOC - W21, M21. A federation may enter a maximum of 6 runners in each class in the individual events, and 2 teams in each class in the relay event, and 3 teams in each class in the mixed sprint relay event. Only the better team will be counted. The current European champion shall be given wild card to enter in addition to the ordinary entries from his federation: Sprint - Tatiana Vlasova RUS, Peter Arnesson SWE Long - Helene Söderlund SWE, Staffan Tunis FIN Middle- Marte Reenaas NOR, Erik Rost SWE JWSOC - W20, M20. Competitors: athletes who are no more than 20 years old on 31st December 2012. federation may enter a team of up to 14 competitors, up to 7 women and 7 men. In each individual competition, each federation may enter up to 6 men and 6 women. In the relay each federation may enter up to 2 women and 2 men teams. In both classes, a team score is calculated for each federation in a team competition. EYSOC - W17, M17. Competitors: athletes who are no more than 17 years old on 31st December 2012. Each federation may enter 4 runners in each class. All entered runners may run all individual distances. The EYSOC-competitors may participate in the JWSOC relay. WMSOC - W/M 35,40,45,50,55,60,65,70,75,80,85. The start order for the first race will be drawn at random. The start order for the second race will be reverse or the start order in the first race. The combined time of the two races forms the final result. 9. Terrain, Climate And Daylight The terrain consists of mixed forest with slope high difference up to 30 m with well developed network of paths and roads. Some slopes are steep. Altitude is 150-200 m. The climate is normally wintry with weather ranging from sun to cloudy and snowfall. Average middle temperature for Sumy in February is about -11 C. Average snowfall in the month of February is about 21 sm. Daylight at Sumy Feb 1.2011: Begin dawn 6.47; Sunrise 8.37; Sunset 16.21; End twilight 17.11 The most recent SkiO map of the competition terrain is on the web. Registration And Entry Fee Final entry: latest date for final entry with the confirmation of the number of competitors and team officials and Media Representatives is 21 January 2012 (use final entry form B, see web site) Final name entry: Latest date for the final entry with names of the competitors and team officials and Media Representatives is 10 February 2012 (use name entry form C), see web site. Attach photos of all runners and representatives to the entry form C, please or send an e-mail to: info@skio2012.sumy.org (Example file name with photo: UKR_Postelnyak.jpg ). The recommended size is 600 x 400 pixels, in.jpg format. Also the personality (name, last name) of all representatives must by filled in form C, please. It is necessary for preparing theirs badges in time. Otherwise they will not have access to team leaders meetings and in compulsory transport.) Fee for Media Representatives - 30 EUR. WMSOC registration and entry fee Entry for the two individual races and model events. Thursday latest day for entry with names of competitors is 10 February 2012 (use entry form B, see web site). Discount for early registration. Entry fee for WMSOC, registration and payment up to: November 30. 2011 60 EUR. Entry fee for WMSOC, registration and payment up to: December 31. 2011 70 EUR. Entry fee for WMSOC, registration and payment up to: January 31.2012 80 EUR. 13. Accommodation For WCup, ESOC, JWSOC, EYSOC, WMSOC: Hotel and hostels in Sumy. Walking distance to the Competitions Office. The distance to competition Centre and all Events Arenas is up to 9-12 km. Type A: Double rooms (European standard), breakfast included. Price: 25 EUR per person / per day Type B: Double rooms (European standard), breakfast included. Price: 20 EUR per person / per day Type C: Three bed rooms (almost European standard), breakfast excluded. Without opportunity to prepare food. Price: 6 EUR per person / per day Type D: 3-6 bed rooms in students hostels with opportunity to prepare food. Price: 6 EUR per person / per day For the participants of WMSOC, VIPs and Media Representatives we propose single, double rooms, suites, luxury suites, breakfast excluded. Price: 51-85 EUR per room / per day (use entry form B, see web site). 14. Maps Map scales, Equidistance: Sprint Relay, Sprint Middle distance Relay Long distance 1:5000, 5 m 1:10000, 5 m 1:10000, 5 m 1:15000, 5 m (1:10000 for WMSOC competitors aged 45 or older) 406 Forest: Slow running. Punching System Sport Ident electronic punching system will be used. Only SI-cards provided by the organizer can be used. 17. Transport On request, we can provide transport for teams from airport Boryspil or Zulyany (Kiev) and from Kiev Main Railway Station to Event Centre and back. Price 15 EUR per persons/one way. Please inform us about your need for transport in entry form A (WCup, ESOC, JWSOC, EYSOC) or entry form B (WMSOC). Travel time will be 5-6 hours. Therefore we recommend ordering lunch packet for 5 EUR per person on board of the bus (use entry form A, B, see web site). The Organizer provides shuttle transport from accommodation sites to arenas and parking near the competition arena for participants with their car of all races (included in Entry Fee). The timetable of transport to arenas and back will be in Bulletin 4. 18. Meals For those staying in A and B accommodation the breakfast is included in the accommodation price. All the others may book breakfast from Organizer for 5 EUR per person / per day (use entry form B, see web site). Simple lunch in the Event arena - 7 EUR per person / per day (use entry form B, see web site). Dinner in Kristal restaurant (400 м in from Competition Centre) - 9 EUR per person / per day (use entry form B, see web site). Banquet - 20 EUR per person (use entry form B, see web site). Buffets will be working in the arena of competition. The range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and lunch. 19. Waxing Facilities For WCup, ESOC, JWSOC, EYOC and WMSOC: There are limited permanent spaces for ski-waxing in the Ski Center and at the apartments. We can provide few extra waxing cabins in the ski stadium for fee. Small waxing cabin 200 EUR for one week. Big waxing cabin 300 EUR for one week (use entry form B, see web site). In rooms of Ski Centre «Dynamo» (400 m from Competition arena) there are boxes for storage of ski (gratis). 5 tables with power will be set for ski waxing. Additionally 2 tents with tables, power and illumination will be placed near the Ski Centre. These places are open to all. From hotels to the Ski Centre "Dynamo (distance 12 km) will go charter - bus on order at any time of day. 9

24. Information about the IEOUC Classes And Participation: Sprint, Middle, Long - W/M 12,14,16,18,20,21,35,50,60. Open for everybody. The start order for the individual races will be drawn at random. Mixed Sprint Relay. In the mixed sprint relay teams consist of one man and one woman (or two women) W/M 21. The number of teams is not limited. Sprint Relay. In the sprint relay teams consist of two man or two woman ( 2 legs) W/M 14, 16, 20, 70 (the sum of age), 90 (the sum of age). Acquisition relay team - the territories / countries. Incomplete teams are not permitted. Teams, staffing of athletes from different territory / country compete out of the competition Participants in the Open Championship of Ukraine can not participate in WMSOC.
