V Olšinách 23 7 18 Prague 1 Strašnice BikeTrial International Technical Rules 217 valid from 1 January 217 BikeTrial Technical rules 217 will be valid in all BikeTrial Events organized by e BikeTrial International Union or by his Members. This book it contains two parts: e first part about e organizational regulations, e second part about Technical Rules. First part Organizational regulations Involved figures, Definitions, Tasks Art. 1 BIKETRIAL BikeTrial is an original and individual sport at incorporates e use of a special bike which e rider must maneuver and balance in order to ride rough specially natural or designed artificial sections. The objective is to pass rough e sections in minimum time and wi as little physical contact wi e ground as possible, hence obtaining minimum penalty points. BikeTrial promote e values at educate participants in a familiar environment, educating eir members on e culture of respect for people and natural environment, and especially encouraging Fair Play, conditions at will have to be observed and promoted by all members, riders, minders, parents, delegates, observers and all people involved in e BikeTrial Event (here also only named Event ) and BikeTrial Sport. As provided by e Statute Article 2: BIU [ ] is e supreme world sports auority empowered to manage e BikeTrial, Blind BikeTrial, Push BikeTrial and Nature ride activities and represent is activity in front of oer legal entities. In is respect, it acts as e supreme world body for settling disputes, which might arise from organization of such activity. It is responsible for launching e entire system of championship competitions in BikeTrial, including launching and declaring official champion titles in all BikeTrial categories. As a result, it determines e technical and economic conditions for operation of organizations involved in e BIU competition system. The same applies to transmissions or audio or video recording related to all Events included in e BIU championship system (competitions), including any related advertisement. Art. 2 RIDER The Rider is e competitor in a BikeTrial competition. BikeTrial rider is e first figure and spokesperson of e BikeTrial Sport; wi e acceptance of a BikeTrial Licenses e Rider confirms its will to respect and promote BikeTrial Sport, BIU body, Observers, Organizer, Jury and all people involved in each BikeTrial competition. Also to know e whole BikeTrial Rules and to accept all judgment wi maximum respect and fair-play. BikeTrial Technical Rules 217 Page 4 of 26

V Olšinách 23 7 18 Prague 1 Strašnice BikeTrial International Technical Rules 217 valid from 1 January 217 Art. 3 MINDER The Minder performs e job of mechanic, assistant and trainer of e Rider during e Event. The number of minders per rider is 1. During e competition e minder should wear e bib (same number as e rider). The Minder is allowed to enter e sections. Art. 4 BIKETRIAL INTERNATIONAL EVENT BIU is e only organization at has right of ownership over e name BikeTrial, and relative Sport Event. The BikeTrial International Event is e over-national sporting Event organized by e BikeTrial International Union, or its Member or Affiliated Member, under direct Agreement wi BIU. Each BikeTrial International Event will be inserted in e Official BikeTrial Calendar. The BikeTrial International Events are defined by type as follow: Contest Cup Indoor Cup Championship The BikeTrial International Events are defined by geographical area as follow: Continental World provide geographical macro area: America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania. The BikeTrial International Event will take e own name from e Area where organized and from e Type of e Event. Example: European BikeTrial Cup Asian BikeTrial Championship World BikeTrial Championship. Art. ORGANIZER The Organizer is e figure in charge to provide all organizational, civils, and economical aspects of e BikeTrial Event. The organizer must belong to, or must have direct agreement wi, an entity which is legally affiliated wi e BikeTrial Union of at country. The organizer must obey e Technical Rules, agreement, and all documents signed between himself and BIU. Organizer will also responsible for all civil and penal aspects arising from e Event and to be responsible for all aspects regarding e guiding of e Event. BikeTrial Technical Rules 217 Page of 26

V Olšinách 23 7 18 Prague 1 Strašnice BikeTrial International Technical Rules 217 valid from 1 January 217 Art. 6 DIRECTOR OF THE EVENT DOE Director of e Event is nominated by e Organizer and is e figure in charge to provide all technical aspects of e competition. He must be an expert on e BikeTrial Rules and know BikeTrial competitions. Director of e Event will sign e agreement in combination wi e Organizer. DOC will work wi e Executive Officer Group to provide e smoo running of e Event. The DOE will be e only one person to have e right to participate in Executive Officer Group meeting and discuss about whole aspect of e competition, but not about sport results or disciplinary decision, at are whole and exclusive competence of e EOG. Art. 7 EXECUTIVE OFFICER GROUP EOG Executive Officer Group consist of e Jury and e Observers in hierarchical system. Head of EOG is e Jury. EOG is e only one figure in charge to provide all sporty matter during e BikeTrial competition. Observer must take part in EOG meeting when requested by e Jury and respect Jury decision and requests. BIU will publish implementing rules about EOG set and composition when needed. EOG presence is mandatory during World BikeTrial Championship, Continental Championship, World BikeTrial Indoor Cup and when provided by e Event Agreement. Art. 8 JURY COMPETENCES AND COMPOSITION The Jury is e maximum sport s auority during e Event and represent officially e BIU during e competition. The presence is mandatory in each BikeTrial International Event. The Jury is responsible to: Checking sections and track, take part in Licenses control, approve Entry List, approve Starting List, decide wi DOE e competition time and approve it, receive and discuss official protest submitted by e competitors, determinate e final ranking, declare e final sport results, take all disciplinary measures if needed, control e correct application of all BIU Rules during e competition, and all oer sporting matter during e Event. All is task are exclusive competences of e Jury; Organizer and DOE cannot modify or interfere in is matters. Jury judgment is final. The Jury will be composed of 3 Members nominated by BIU Presidium at least 7 days before e Event. BIU will also nominate e Jury President. Jury member names list will be published on Official board of e competition before e start of e Event. Each Jury member have disciplinary competence on e competition track, for e whole time of e Event in all technical questions and judgments outside of e BikeTrial sections, is one are exclusive competence of e Observers. The Jury will not accept any audiovisual proof presented to support a claim (or e opposite could encourage interested chasing of adversaries). BikeTrial Technical Rules 217 Page 6 of 26

V Olšinách 23 7 18 Prague 1 Strašnice BikeTrial International Technical Rules 217 valid from 1 January 217 JURY MEETINGS The schedule of jury meeting will be as follows: 1st jury meeting (before e start of each competition s day): Inspection of e sections. Approval of e Entry list and e Start List. 2nd jury meeting (at e end of each competition s day): This Jury meeting must be finished wiin 3 minutes of e last rider completely e Event. Approval of e competition results. In e case of a category not being approved in e provisional results, e placing will be announced in e awarding ceremony by e provisional results. This means e results may be changed at e 3rd jury meeting. 3rd jury meeting (after e closing ceremony): Approval of e rest of e results. OTHERS The organizer must provide e map of e track and section checking list for e jury members before ey start checking sections. Only DOE and Jury will be allowed to check (inspect) e sections. Art. 9 OBSERVERS The Observer is e only auority in e section he/her is observing. When provided observers are part of e Executive Officer Group (EOG) set by em and by e Jury. The observer must judge according to e rules. The observer must be neutral and absolutely impartial. The observer must judge all riders in e same way and same manner. The observer must be aged 18 years old, or more. Competitors are expected to give maximum respect toward Observers, any kind of disrespect or offense will be not tolerated by e EOG. Riders must accept judgment wi maximum education and fair-play. The observer must indicate e score to e Riders by hand signals. The observer will be provided wi a count down mechanism which will make an acoustic sound to signify e end time. Besides is, e observer must advice e riders (approximately) one minute before e finishing time and at 3 seconds, 1 seconds,, 4, 3, 2, 1, in English. The chief observer should not carry e timer in e section. The observer is responsible for keeping e section in good condition regarding boundary ribbon and section equipment at e completion time of e competition. Art. 1 NATIONAL DELEGATE The National Delegate is e representative of e National Team during e international competitions. His name must be communicate to BIU before e Event. Any National Delegate from any country has e right to ask e EOG when provided, or DOE of any International Competition, to perform an age check of any rider by examine his/her official documents, (passport, etc). V Olšinách 23 7 18 Prague 1 Strašnice BikeTrial International Technical Rules 217 valid from 1 January 217 Art. 11 TIME KEEPER and SECRETERY STAFF Organizer must provide Time Keeper staff for e Event. Time Keeper must record e arriving time in hours, minutes and seconds of each rider. Time Keeper will be part of e Secretarial staff and will follow, wi whole Secretarial Staff, e Jury instructions about e good conduct of e Event. Art. 12 TECHNICAL CONTROL Organizer must provide Technical control staff for e Event. Technical Control staff will check at e Bike, Rider cloes and equipment are not dangerous for BikeTrial Sport use. Any bikes considered dangerous by Technical Control will be not admitted to e competition. The Riders can submit in Technical Control 2 bikes. Technical Control staff it mark e bike wi a sticker or paint at make recognizable e bike as admitted in e competition. Art. 13 AGENDA The Organizer must send e information (e.g. map of e place, accommodation and schedule of e Event) to BIU at least ree mons before e Event. All data must be collected in a file named Agenda and follow e BIU Agenda instructions. Art. 14 BIKETRIAL CONTEST The BikeTrial Contest is e over-national Event focused on e sport promotion, Rider meeting and cultural exchange, also wiout competition value. Organizer have e maximum freedom to submit his own BikeTrial Contest project to BIU Presidium for e approval. Art. 1 BIKETRIAL CONTINENTAL CUP The BikeTrial Continental Cup is an Event or a series of Events organized in exclusively or in concurrently wi a National Event and opened to e Continental Riders. During Continental Cup national organizational rules prevail, while e Technical Rules must be e International one. Continental Cup does not give any title of Champion. BIU will provide a special prize and Diploma for e final 3 best Riders in each category. Art. 16 CONTINENTAL BIKETRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP The Continental BikeTrial Championship take e name from Continent where organized. All National Calendars of e BikeTrial continental Area must respect is date. No oer BikeTrial Event can be arranged in e continental area during is time. BikeTrial Technical Rules 217 Page 8 of 26

Must be organized on natural sections; Maximum 2% of artificial sections allowed. BIU provide to supply e Continental Champion Diploma, jersey and medal / trophy in each category. Art. 17 CONTINENTAL BIKETRIAL INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP The Continental BikeTrial Indoor Championship take e name from Continent where organized. All National Calendars of e BikeTrial continental Area must respect is date. No oer BikeTrial Event can be arranged in e continental area during is time. The Continental Indoor Championship proclaims e Continental BikeTrial Indoor Champion of e year in each provided category and must provide artificial sections only. BIU provide to supply e Continental Indoor Champion Diploma, jersey and medal / trophy in each category. Art. 18 WORLD BIKETRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP - WBC The World BikeTrial Championship is e most important Event organized by BIU. All National Calendars must respect WBC date. No oer BikeTrial Event can be arranged during WBC time. The WBC proclaims e World BikeTrial Champion of e year in each provided category. Maximum 2% of artificial sections allowed. At e end of each WBC an annual Elite Ranking (2+26) and Elite Femine will be compiled by BIU. It will be used to declare e general Elite Ranking of e year. BIU provide to supply e World Champion Diploma, jersey and medal / trophy in each category. Art. 19 WORLD or CONTINENTAL BIKETRIAL MAJOR CUP The World BikeTrial Major cup it s a competition, or series of competitions, reserved to 3 years old, or more, Riders. The WBMC can be organized during e WBC or during a separated Event. WBMC does not give e title of Champion. WBMC can be organized also as Continental BikeTrial Major Cup. In is case will take e name of e Continent where is organized (i.e.: European BikeTrial Major Cup). WBMC (or Continental) can start wi Entry List of Riders minimum, from at least 2 countries. BIU will provide Diplomas and special prize for e final 3 best Riders. Art. 2 WORLD BIKETRIAL ELITE CUP The World BikeTrial Elite Cup it s a special Event reserved to Elite Riders only. BikeTrial Technical Rules 217 Page 9 of 26

Adequate insurance coverage (damage, accident and injury) to be provided for Riders, spectators and staff to cover any foreseen/unforeseen Events at might occur. Selection The organizer must invite at least e five top riders (as e minimum) from e last approved Elite ranking. The organizer can select e oer riders to invite. Competition The World BikeTrial Elite Cup will be held wi eight riders, in case of more riders, it should be proposed to e BIU. The organizer must choose one of e two systems of competition. 1) Basic system 1st lap: It is e qualifying lap to determine e four best riders by e score and e classification of to 8 place. 2nd lap: It is e final lap to determine e classification of 1st to 4 place. (Notice: The final result of e top four riders must be determined by e total score of e 1st lap and e 2nd lap). Starting order: a. The rider wi lower position of e ranking must start first in e first lap, ie. The Champion starts last. b. The rider wi lowest position (most points) in e first lap must start first in e second lap. The rider wi best score starts last. Qualify of sections: 1st lap= 1 sections (as e maximum, including special sections) 2nd lap= 1 sections (as e maximum, including special sections) 2) Tournament system 1st lap: It is e qualifying lap to determine e four best riders and e classification of to 8 place. 2nd lap: It is e semi-final lap to determine e top two and e classification of 3rd to 4 place. 3rd lap: It is e final to determine e classification of e 1st and e 2nd place. Determination of pairs: Group-1: Selected by e BIU (The best riders from Elite Ranking in e last WBC). Art. 21 ENROLMENT COST The International Union, National Union, etc. are entitled to charge annual fees to e entities and organizers affiliated wi em. The BIU is irrespectively entitled to charge a specific amount for any kind of auorization of an Event. The organizer is also entitled to charge an entry fee to e riders. Art. 22 ENTRIES AND LICENSES At e start of each Event an application form will be distributed upon presentation of a current BikeTrial license issued by e BIU Member or directly from BIU in e current year. If e rider possesses a license, he/she can enter any competition in at year. BIU Members A (Members) and BIU Members B (Affiliated Members) have e possibility to ask to use e National Licenses as BIU License during e International Event, in is case e BIU Member must communicate to BIU, at least 3 days before e start of e first competition of e year, a facsimile of e issued license. Art. 23 EVENT AGREEMENT The Organizer must obtain e Agreement to hold an Event from BIU rough e National BIU Member of at country. Before each BikeTrial International Event will be signed a special agreement between e Organizer, wi permission of e Delegate, and BIU. The aim of e agreement will be to establish e parameters at grant e correct running of e Event. Agreement will be signed by e Organizer, e Delegate and BIU. All fees are non-refundable and nontransferable in case of cancellation of e Event. In e case of weaer problems or accident happened during e Event and stopping e competition for safety reason, e results will be admitted by e Jury if % of competition was already over. It means at least 1 lap must be done by all riders. Art. 24 ENTRY LIST and ENTRY FEE Entry List Before each BikeTrial international Event BIU set up e Entry List of e participants Riders. BIU send e entry list form to each delegate of e country before e Event. All dates, times and deadline for Entry List and registration in e Event will be published in e Event Agenda and Official BIU web site. The participating nation must send e entry form (according to BIU format) and e list of riders to e BIU Head office, by e delegate, rough before e registration - deadline. Normal and suggested registration deadline is 3 days before e Competition. BIU publish e entry list on e official BIU web site. Official deadline will be published in e Agenda. After e official deadline will be possible to expand e list of participants wi a increase of e amount of registration fee: From e day after of official dead line till 1 days before e competition: e 1, of e Fee. From e 14 day before e competition till e 4 day: e double of e Fee. The organizer cannot modify e entry list provided by e BIU wiout Jury auorization. Entry Fee Entry Fee for e BikeTrial International Events will be published in e Event Agenda and BIU Official web site before e Event. If e rider does not arrive at e Event (unless good proof or a valid reason - injury etc.) he/she will lose e fee. The rider must communicate to e Organizer his absence wi valid reason 24 hours before e start of e first Rider in competition. The delegate has e right to change any Rider names before e deadline. From e initial entry list in e same or different category. Constructor Entry Fee Group-E, e Constructor, which participates in is category must pay an entry fee. Import of Constructor Entry Fee will be communicated in Advance from BIU to e Delegates and reported in e Agreement. The fee must be paid to e BIU rough e National BIU Member, (e 8% will goes to e National Union and e 2% will goes to e BIU), or directly to BIU if is have direct contact wi e Constructor. Art. 2 IMAGE AND DECORUM OF THE EVENT UNIFORM All riders and e team staff should wear eir uniform for e official ceremony (welcome party, opening ceremony, award ceremony, and closing ceremony) of e Event. Those participants can wear eir riding gear. A shirt and pants will be accepted as a minimum kit of e team uniform but it is recommended to prepare a full set (a shirt, pants, a cap/hat, and a jacket) if possible. The material of e uniform will be of free choice but e logo of e BNU and e national flag should be printed on each of em. FLAGS Every country should be represented by its flag and National Anem. Such a presentation is generally set on e first day of e Event. Art. 26 MINIMUM AND MANDATORY ITEMS AND TOOLS FOR THE EVENT INFORMATION BOARD The organizer must provide an information board at e entrance of camping area and must put all information on e board. (eg. time schedule, special rules and provisional results). INFORMATION SYSTEM The organizer must provide a megaphone or sound diffusion system set for general information. Announcements should be reported in English as e minimum. CAMPING AREA The organizer must provide a camping area which has enough capacity and adequate ground wi at least five toilets and showers for ladies and five toilets and showers for men as e minimum. Camping Area is suggested but not mandatory for Continental Cup or Contest. INSURANCE Adequate insurance coverage (damage, accident and injury) needs to be provided for riders, spectators and staff to cover any foreseen/unforeseen Events at might occur, as better provided by e Event Agreement. SECRETERY ROOM Organizer must provide a space for Secretery Room for Jury and secretary staff. Secretery room must be able to be closed and not noisy during e meeting. The BIU flag is exposed right now and must still showed during e whole Event. AWARD CEREMONY Wi e Award Ceremony e Organizer will celebrate e winner of e Event. The organizer must provide national flags, national anem, and award platform in order to honor e winners in e Award Ceremony. The organizer must provide, as e minimum, a trophy or gift for e first ree riders in each category. The award of top 3 in each category should be given by e order below: Constructor, Major World Cup, Poussin, Benjamin, Minime, Femina, Junior, Senior 2 or 26 (e category wi better result s winner after), Elite Femina, Elite 2 or 26 (e category wi better result s winner after), Nations. No object, tools, flags, sign or any items in addition to e normal racing cloing can be worn on podium by e Riders. National flag is admitted. POUSSIN CATEGORY A special gift / gadget to all Riders in Poussin category is strongly suggested. Also suggested to call em close to e podium name by name. CLOSING CEREMONY Wi e Closing Ceremony e Event is officially declared over by e Organizer. The best 7 results from all categories. The constructor which participates in is category must pay an entry fee for e Championship. The fee can be paid to e BIU rough e BNU or directly to BIU. The entry will be close wi e registration deadline of e Championship. The fee must be paid to e BIU before e registration deadline. The name of e brand will be inserted in e starting list, e official results and e oer official documents of e BIU. Art. 31 RIDER CLOTHES AND EQUIPMENT The rider is under e obligation to wear: a helmet, pants, shirt and one piece footwear. If e rider does not obey wi ese attire regulations HE/SHE WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY INTO THE COMPETITION OR SECTIONS. Gloves, shirts wi long sleeves, long pants and ankle protective footwear are strongly advisable but not compulsory. - On e competition track: Jury can check e Rider cloes and equipment. - Before entering section: The rider will not be allowed to enter e section when e observer has seen a fault in cloes and/or equipment. - After entering section: In e case of a rider is already in e section when e observer has seen a fault in cloes and/or equipment, e rider will not be allowed to continue riding in e section for safety reasons. The penalty is points. Art. 32 PRE-COMPETITION PRACTICE Riders are not allowed pre-competition practice inside e designated area of e track and sections. Any rider seen wi his bicycle in any place (eg. track and sections) one week before e competition will be disqualified from e competition. Any attempt made to practice before e competition will result in e exclusion of e concerned rider from e Championship. Art. 33 NUMBER BOARD The organizer will provide a number board for e riders and for eir respective minders or for eir bikes. The number board size should be a minimum of 1 1 cm for e bike as well as for e rider. Number board should be placed on e handlebar of e bike so ey are clearly visible. The group color should be clearly indicated at e head part of e bike. The first numbers (1-) will be reserved for e Elite riders. The numbers should be distributed in numerical order, ie: If a rider at has participated in e previous years Championships is absent e following year, e number which corresponds to his/her position will be left vacant. The advertising space on e plate number is reserved for e organizers. The rider cannot compete wiout original plate number given from organizer. Art. 3 BIKES In order to participate in a BikeTrial Event, e bike composition must meet wi e following conditions: The end of e front and rear brake levers must not be finished in a dangerous form. The entirety of e bike must be provided wi an effective brake system. Any overhanging metal of more an 1 mm should be covered in order to avoid any dangerous situation. The Technical Control is not to accept any bike wi a fissure on e handlebar, frame or fork. The materials at e bike can be constructed from is unlimited. THE TECHNICAL CONTROL MUST CHECK ABOVE MENTIONED POINTS AND THE PASSED STICKER OR PAINT ON THE FRAME MUST BE TOUGH TO REMOVE. The Rider can use maximum 2 bikes during e competition. Bo bikes must be submitted to e Technical Control can be used in e Event. Art. 36 BIKE WHEEL SIZE The maximum of 22 of one wheel size will apply to e categories of Poussin, Benjamin & Femina, Senior 2 and Elite 2. More an 22 of one wheel size will apply to e categories of Elite 26, Senior 26. Minime, Junior and Elite Femina categories are free on wheel size. Art. 37 TRACK The track will be constructed on pas, roads and in forests (if necessary), along which e sections will be arranged. Track must be marked clearly by e organizer. Riders must follow e designated route and must not take an alternative route. The track must be structured in a way at does not allow e riders to take a shorter route. In e case of e Jury deciding to modify or change e sections, e organizer must obey wi ese changes. TRACK SIGNALS The track signals must be different from e section signals. The track must be oroughly signaled from bo start to finish and along all e sections in order to avoid any confusion to e riders. BikeTrial Technical Rules 217 Page 19 of 26

Each section should be surrounded by resistant and impermeable ribbon. The ribbon must be totally visible and well secured to stakes or oer objects which must be fixed underground. The entirety of e ribbon must be fastened at APPROXIMATELY 3 cm from e ground (as close as possible to is height). All broken ribbon must be replaced in e same position before anoer rider enters e section. Aside from e prementioned suggestions for marking e track and sections, it is advisable to use some form of barrier to keep on-lookers at safe distance. The sections must be new and neutral. Dangerous sections must not be constructed. The sections should differ substantially from each oer and show variety. The sections should be designed in a way at suits e different levels of ability in e different categories and which would not occur any danger for bo riders and spectators. High steps should be avoided. Aside from e pre-mentioned suggestions for design e sections. It is advisable to construct 1 easier section as minimum in each category except Elite to give a chance to e riders who came from e countries where e technical skill level is not high. The exit line of e sections should be drawn 2 m away from e difficult part of each section. The Event must not be organized in a place where a mon before an Event has been held in e same location. On at note, e organizer should try to look for new areas to make different sections. On competition of e entry form, e rider is permitted to observe e sections on foot. The entry order of riders into each section will follow e queue order. Each section must be very clearly marked. A line to indicate e start and finish of each section must appear. If it is necessary, an interval line will also be included. A line must also be at e end of each section to indicate when e end of e employed riding time will end. The sections will be numbered so as to correspond wi each group as follows: o Group A 1 to 14 (max 14 sections, minimum 8) o Group B 21 to 31 (max 1 sections, minimum 7) If needed indicate e travel direction into e gates. To indicate e direction will be enough write e progressive number of e gate over e arrows in all e gates of e section. From 1 till e last gate in e section. To understand e correct way, e Rider must read e progressive number of e gate. NEUTRAL ZONE A neutral zone, from 2 to 3 meters, will be set at e entry of each section, at which e rider will wait while e preceding rider is performing e section. A line must be drawn to define e neutral zone and e entry of each section in order to indicate e beginning of e section. The rider has to start wi bo spindles inside e neutral zone. Oer The leng and wid of sections: Leng: about 2 m, wid: 1m as e minimum The number of sections: Group-A: minimum 8 sections and maximum 14 sections BikeTrial Technical Rules 217 Page 2 of 26

Senior & Junior: 2 cm as maximum. Benjamin: 8 cm as e maximum. Poussin & Femina: cm as e maximum. Elite Femina, Minime, Major: 12 cm as e maximum. Art. 39 TIME Section time The time limit to pass a BikeTrial section is 2 minutes. Sections 1, 2 and 21, 22 can be named Speed Sections. Inside speed sections time is reduced to 1 minute (6 seconds). The Organizer must place a sign close to e entry section reporting e words Speed Section, 6 Second. Track time These times below will be used as a guide: 1 minutes per section 1 minutes per km on e track 6 minutes for delay penalization (Example: In an Event of 8 sections, and a track of 1km, two laps will be as follows): 8 sections 2 laps = 16 1 minutes = 16 1 km + 1 km = 2 1 minutes = 3 16 minutes + 3 minutes = 19 minutes in total + 6 minutes wi delay penalization. Neutralization The time delay control should be provided by e Jury between 1st lap and 2nd lap, in e case at ere are still some riders who didn t start yet. Delay penalization Track (start & finish): The start delay penalization will apply by e Jury as soon as rider exceeds his/her starting time, and 1 penalty point will apply for every 1 minute of delay. In e case of a delay exceeding 1 minutes, e rider will be disqualified. The finish delay penalization will apply by e Jury as soon as e rider exceeds his/her finishing time, and 1 penalty point will apply for every minutes of delay. In e case of delay exceeding 6 minutes, e rider will be disqualified. For example, if e track time was :: (4:: + 1 :: wi delay penalty), e first penalty point (-1p) will be given to e rider when his/her running time became 4::, and so on every after minutes passed. Official Starting list will be made as agreed by Jury, Organizer and DOE. The starting list will be published on e Official Board at least 2 hours before e start. Art. 41 SCORE CARD The card must be made of plastic or of water resistant paper which is non-resistant to ink. The card should be 18 mm and it should have e numbers 1 to 2 marked on it as well as e numbers, 1, 2, 3, and to indicate e penality points. Labeled on e upper part of e card should be: e name of e rider, his/her number, e category and e color group. On e lower part of e card should be: e start time, finish time and overall time. Frontal: Front wheel axle b. Posterior: Rear wheel axle c. Contact: Between tire and e ground The axle of front wheel indicates e entry and e exit of a section. The rider must be equipped wi e regulation cloing (pants, helmet, shoes/boots), oerwise e observer will not allow him/her to enter e section. YELLOW CARD: Any Rider who for whatever reason arises to contrast wi e Observer, or create disturbance, or in any case e Observer deems it necessary, will receive a Yellow Card from e Observer. 1 Wi Yellow Card e section will be penalties. In any case. The Observer also will write, on e Penalty Card of e Rider, YELLOW CARD and e number of e section. 2 SECOND YELLOW CARD - In e same or in anoer section 3 RED CARD: As decided at e discretion of e Observer. The Observer also will write, on e Penalty Card of e Rider, RED CARD and e number of e section. 4 More an one RED card Only e Rider can ask to e Observer, regarding objections or complains. The observer will listen only e riders, not e minder or anyone else (except Group B where e Minder can ask). Rider must ask to e Observer only wi Fair-Play and good manners. RED CARD 1 Disqualification by e Jury YELLOW OR RED CARD If Rider using bad language, or in any case when e Observer deems it necessary: 6 Only e Rider can ask to e Observer, regarding objections or complaints. From YELLOW CARD till disqualification 1 In case of external disturbance affect e Observer or affect e Rider performances, e Observer can call a Time Out. After Time Out e Rider will finish e section from e same point where Time Out was calling and from e same penalty. Protests will be addressed to e Jury no later an 1 minutes after e arrival of e last rider. There should only be 1 protest per person and 1 item per protest. Each complaint must be accepted by a pre-determined payment of Euro. NO PROTEST AGAINST OBSERVER DECISION WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE JURY. KNOWLEDGE OF THE RULES The riders, upon applying for entry for competition must possess a rough knowledge of e present Technical Rules and respect any oer instructions given by e organizers in order to improve e Event. Art. 4 NATIONAL TECHNICAL RULES Every BIU Member is auorized to translate and publish its own technical rules. However ey may be different from e international ones EXCEPT THE PENALIZATION SYSTEM.
