To encourage your K6 students to be intentional about learning, the elementary will hold short assemblies once a month this 2017-2018 school year. Each class will take a turn planning skits, songs, games and/or chants to celebrate the effort of learning by focusing on a different learner habit each month. Classes will also compete to win a traveling trophy. We "pump up" athletes to do their best; students can benefit from this too. Your children have so much possibility in front of them as they take advantage of all they can learn at HLV. Each one can decide to be a "Star Learner." Together, we'll cheer them on!!
