P A G E 8 Announcements Class of 2018 Dues and Prom Tickets If your student attended IHS during their 9-11 grade years, you may have paid Class of 2018 Dues. If so, the dues that you paid go towards your student s prom ticket. Our Student Council is selling tickets on B Days in the café during lunches and they have a list of who has paid dues and in what amounts. You may also email our finance secretary, Vickie Rupprecht, at rupprecv@friscoisd.org if you would like to inquire about Class Dues. If you paid Class Dues, and your child does not pick up their ticket, you will be given the opportunity to request a refund of those funds after Prom has occurred. The refund process will be advertised in the newsletter as well as emailed out to every senior parent and student. Please note, this is NOT the same thing as the Senior Fees that were collected this year by the Senior Parent Booster Club. Those fees were paid for senior activities, which included the Bon Fire, 5 th Quarter, Power Puff Game, and Six Flags trip. Teacher Appreciation Week Our annual Teacher Appreciation Week will be April 30 May 4, 2018. During this week, we honor all of our teachers and their hard work throughout the school year. If you are interested in donating anything or if you have a company/ business that would like to sponsor an event, please contact Campus Secretary, Michelle Arellano at arellanom@friscoisd.org or 469-633-5406. We appreciate any and all donations from our community partners. Seniors ATTENTION SENIORS!! All Senior information and updates will be on the IHS website under resources/2018 seniors. http://schools.friscoisd.org/hs/independence/site/resources/2017-seniors
