The first 3 days of the (October 20 th 22 th ) was organized in Turin. We were welcomed at the CTO in Turin by P. Rossi who gave us a brief summary of the hospital, the department and their activities. The scientific programme in Turin represented several different areas of orthopaedic surgery. Among these, the group of Upper limb surgery, where the pinning of the proximal humeral fractures was an excellent topic for discussion as well as an interesting overview of the group s experiences in research. Mr. Davide Bonasio presenting to the group at the CTO, Turin Furthermore, the groups performing Trauma surgery, Lower limb surgery, Hand surgery and Tumor surgery gave interesting lectures on many different topics. At the end of the first day, all participants presented themselves as well as their country and organization.
