The Heiva San Diego, a Polynesian celebration representing Tahiti has positioned herself as the bridge between French Polynesia and the United States sharing our culture with multi-ethnic Polynesian communities. An event of celebration on the 11 & 12 of August, filled with the richness of our Polynesian culture which advocates supreme values! It is an experience our guests will never forget. Heiva San Diego is more than a dance competition. It is a pure cultural gathering, in Tahitian called Ua hiti o te ra, a celebration. We celebrate friendship, music, dancing, drumming, singing, arts & crafts and islands spirits! Come escape with us into our Tropical Paradise: this is fun and familyoriented event! Thanks to the support of the Conservatoire of French Polynesia and enthusiasm of our dedicated board members and all cultural actors, vendors, tattoo artists, singers, dancers, musicians, historians of the Pacific Islands, the Heiva San Diego has earned a solid international reputation. All have supported this event since the very beginning, believing in it and sharing its ambition from the outset. Like every large cultural events, Heiva San Diego will continue to be innovative with its future events. The Festival has brought life, culture and arts to everyone who loves the South Pacific! Everything we do at Reva Tahiti Productions, we tie it to the history and the Culture of Tahiti. For us, it s about authenticity, it s about our islands, and it s all about our roots, and to bring all of us together. As a proud Tahitian, I invite you to join us in this exciting journey! For the competition, we have trophy prizes and hope to build a cash prize to offset some entry fees of our participating groups for the event. Get ready for an exotic voyage you ll never forget... TAHITI CULTURAL FESTIVAL coming to San Diego in August! An event like no other! Heiva San Diego has grown into a truly international showcase of beauty, fashion, talent and culture. It brings our people, traditions and nations together in a way that is unmatched by any other event. Mr. Heiva and Miss Heiva will create their own activities to improve the lives of our children with Cancer or Autism, the sick and disadvantaged children or help with fundraisers to aid our Polynesian projects in America. We showcase and introduce more of our talented international artists and varied activities including tattoo, a Tahiti Village representing each archipelago in French Polynesia, authentic food from Tahiti, and spectacular music (ukulele and drumming) performances are on the agenda this year. Our event draws close to 3,000 to 5,000 visitors from all over the world to share with us the excitement of dancing and drumming. Advertising Opportunities OUR TARGETED AUDIENCE Heiva San Diego attracts anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000+ attendees from all over the World. This market is affluent, educated, culturally aware and has a very specialized interest in Tahitian/Polynesian artifacts, clothing, and unique collectibles like toeres (Carved Tahitian drums with amazing sound effects), and plenty of other similar interests.
