THE CLUB THE PRESIDENT S FOREWORD Created in 1957, it was in 2013 that, thanks to the support of our partners, we had finally accessed the Division 1. In four years, our budget increased from 0.7 millions to 1.5 millions and the average of spectators increased from 850 to 1.100 per game. This previous season, we reached the finals of the Playoffs while being almost unbeatable at home with 16 wins out of 18. Our main objective is to continue strengthening the structure of the Club through an enhanced professionalization of our collaborators, the development of our infrastructures, the increase of our partnerships and our budget, and an improvement of the value of our Business Club. Through these objectives, our ambition is to make Basic- Fit Brussels Basketball last while getting closer to the bigger clubs of the First Division. And with you, we will make it all happen. THE EVENTS THE EUROPEAN TOURNAMENT The European Tournament is a pre-season tournament opposing Basic-Fit Brussels Basketball to 3 top European teams. In September 2016, KK Cibona Zagreb, Fraport Skyliners (Frankfurt) and BC Oostend participated to this event, which gathered more than 4.000 supporters over 2 days. Bonn Basket, Goetingen and Okapi Aalst will be the 3 new teams for the 2017 edition

THE BUSINESS CLUB AT THE HEART OF THE PASSION Dynamism, conviviality, exchanges, desire to work and grow together are driving forces of our Business Club. Exclusively restricted to heads of private or public companies or politicians, our Business Club offers you the opportunity to meet the other partners of the Club, develop professional interactions between partners and even present your company and activities in your own premises. While perpetually growing, it was no less than 80 people representing around 60 companies per event that gathered at our 3 or 4 yearly Business Clubs.
SEMINARS & CONFERENCES PRICE ON REQUEST Organize your seminars and conferences in an authentic and a sports atmosphere in our arena in Neder-Over-Heembeek. Basic-Fit Brussels Basketball opens its doors to you so that you could, through values conveyed by basketball, develop the management, cohesion and motivation of your team. Exchange with the players and follow a part of their practice. Lace up your sneakers for a basketball game supervised by the players and the staff. The coach will also be available for interventions based on your needs. Used to manage stressful situation and take difficult decisions while quickly analyzing a situation, he will team up with you and your collaborators to help you achieve your team goals.
THE YOUTH ACADEMY DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG TALENTS Since its creation in 1957, the Club strived to offer to young Brussels players the opportunity to develop their basketball skills in a friendly and progression conducive environment. Under the registered name Royal Aera Excelsior Brussels ASBL, it is more than 300 players under 23 years old split into 22 different teams of all levels and age that practice the game of basketball. They are supervised by 26 coaches, technical directors and athletic trainers, and 75 volunteers. The non-profit organization gives also importance to collaborating with other clubs in the Brussels region and proposes extracurricular activities to more then 250 children and teenagers in association with not less than 11 Brussels schools.
THE SOCIAL CARE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG TALENTS We use basketball as a vector of values such as team spirit, solidarity, humility, mutual aid, integration and pushing oneself to the limits. These values guarantee progress and development, not only for the player itself but also for the Club and the community around it. We meet sports, cultural and social associations to help them discover the game of basketball and give the opportunity to numerous unprivileged kids to escape their everyday life for one day. Sharing the passion of basketball allows to create vocations and dreams. These moments of sharing are an enrichment for everyone and help to stay humble.
