National Night Out Rescheduled Months of planning, meetings, and work went into the August National Night Out event. Our entire team was super bummed we had to make the call to postpone on Monday. Our entire team was very stressed about the weather and wondered if calling the event would be the best decision - call it and it won't rain, don't call it and it will. Lucky enough, thunder, lightning, rain, and wind made its way to Fort Campbell last night about 5:00 pm. Our team was happy we ended up making the right call! Now, we will begin working on a new event with all the same fun at a later time in October. Although the date has not yet been solidified, our team is going to work with the Fort Campbell and local law enforcement to come up with a great event everyone can enjoy - in hopefully a bit cooler weather! Here is a picture of the rainbow someone from our team caught yesterday when leaving the office about 6:00 pm.
Month of Magic Show A big thank you to everyone who RSVP'd for our Month of Magic event! We have been so busy calling for National Night Out, but we appreciate everyone's patience as we work to get an email together for those who made the 300 person cut off limit. We promise to have an email out to everyone who made it by close of business on Wednesday, August 3! The email will have more detail on when and where! We can't wait to see you there! Back to School Unpack that backpack! And check your safety list! Children shouldn't experience pain or get red marks from wearing their backpack. If this happens, they're carrying too much weight. Help them lighten their loads and take a look at these helpful tips. http://ow.ly/nmntn

Over the next two years, eight different communities will be getting a new privacy fence installed in their home from Clarksville Fencing. Your community office will be reaching out to residents when they get to their community. The project will be using the latest technology we were able to see in action yesterday! The system is designed to be safer and more efficient - and it definitely didn't disappointment! Barker's Court have been notified will be the first to test out this new system this month! The system is called a hydrovac and uses water to assist in creating holes. Residents whose home will be worked on may notice their back yard holding a little more water than normal. This is because the water is used to break up the ground and loosen the soil. As an employee does this, another is standing there with a vacuum to suck up all the excess water and loosened soil. It reminded our team of being at a dentist office with water and suction in your mouth! What's left? A hole to put the poles in for the new fencing! In about 20 minutes, the team who was testing the equipment was able to complete about 6 holes. The system is also good at reducing noise levels; however, residents can
still expect to hear noise during business hours. There may also be occasion when the teams will have to work on Saturdays in order to complete a neighborhood in a timely manner. As always, we are at the mercy of mother nature, which could extend/delay the timeline for some neighborhoods. We thank everyone in advance for their patience and understanding. Check out some pictures we were able to snap during the process yesterday! We Hate to Bug You But we have some important news regarding pest control work orders. Beginning August 15, all calls for pest control can be made to the work order line at 931-431-3966. They will be available to take your work orders for pest control
Monday-Friday 7 am - 7 pm. Until then, you can continue to call your community office for pest control. We thank you in advance as our team makes this transition from community office to maintenance.
