Valparaiso University Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils present Valparaiso University Greek Week 2018 All fraternities and sororities are invited to participate in the Valparaiso University Greek Week 2018 celebration. This packet outlines all of the activities, and how points will be awarded to participating chapters. Any questions? Please contact Stephanie Davis, Panhellenic President at panhellenic.president@valpo.edu or Jake Landgraf, IFC President at ifc.president@valpo.edu.

Sunday, April 22, 2018: Greek Week Window Painting: 9:00 p.m. in Founders Table 50 Points Three (3) members from every organization may decorate their group s designated window from 9-11pm on Sunday night. Members can paint their window to represent their organization, as well as the theme of Greek Week, One Valpo. Only members of an organization can paint on their window. Each team will be given 50 pts for participation and additional points will be given to those who win (1st = 20 points, 2nd = 10 points, 3rd = 5 points). The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges from the Student Affairs Division. Each team must return at the end of the week and clean their window otherwise the chapter will be disqualified. Monday, April 23, 2018: Kickball Tournament: 4:00 p.m. on the Harre Union West Lawn 50 Points Get ready to play some kickball! In this tournament, each chapter will have a Team Captain and can send one team of a maximum of 10 players to play for the kickball tournament championship! Each chapter will be awarded 5 points for each team member attending, for a maximum of 50 points. There will be separate brackets for sorority and fraternity teams, so there will be one sorority and one fraternity winner. The fraternity and sorority winning teams will each receive additional points (30 for 1st place, 20 for 2nd place, and 10 for 3rd place). Chapters are encouraged to send non-players as well to cheer on their teams!

Tuesday, April 24, 2018: Greek Week Blood Drive- 12:00-7:00 p.m. in the Ballrooms Percentage Points Members who give blood will be able to earn points for their chapter. IFC and Panhellenic will run a sign in table to track what members donated. Points for this event will take percentage of chapter participation and multiply that number by 10 and that will be the total number of the points received. 5 points will be awarded to chapters for each member who volunteers to staff the drive. Blood donors should register in advance for a time to ensure the opportunity to give blood. Chapters should submit the names of any members who are spring athletes as they are ineligible to give blood and those names will be removed from the rosters for eligibility purposes. Members can sign-up for a blood donation time at: https://esiebelarecprod.redcrossblood.com/eevents_enu/start.swe?swecmd=login&swecm=s &SWEHo=esiebelarecprod.redcrossblood.com Sand Volleyball Tournament: 5:00 pm at Guild/Memorial Courts 40 points Compete against other fraternities and sororities in a single elimination Volleyball Tournament on the sand volleyball courts located behind Guild/Memorial Hall! Each organization can send up to 8 members (6 competing at a time with 2 subs). Teams will receive 5 points per person on the team. There will be a separate bracket for fraternities and sororities. The final winners of the fraternity and sorority brackets will each receive additional points (30 for 1st place, 20 for 2nd place, and 10 for 3rd place).

Wednesday, April 25, 2018: Fraternity and Sorority Trivia Night: 7:00 p.m. in Ballroom A 50 Points Each chapter may send one team of up to 5 members to compete in a fierce game of Valpo and Fraternity and Sorority Life themed trivia. Each chapter will receive 10 points for each person in attendance, with a maximum of 50 points possible. Additional points will be awarded to those teams that win (1st = 30 points, 2nd = 20 points, 3rd = 10 points). Thursday, April 26, 2018: Get Hired Using your Fraternity/Sorority Membership: 7:00 p.m. in the Harre Union Ballrooms 100 Points Any member of Valpo s community knows that there is so much more that goes in to being a member of a fraternity or sorority than just showing up. As members of Valpo s community, you have an ability to learn about event planning, budgeting, service, and much more! This program, co-sponsored by the Career Center, will give you tips and tricks to build up your resume to reflect these experiences and allow you to ask fellow fraternity and sorority members advice about how to get hired! 25 points will be awarded for every 25% of your membership in attendance

Friday, April 27, 2018: Alpha Phi Omega Mr. Valpo Pageant: 8:00pm in the Ballrooms Bonus Points Alpha Phi Omega is hosting their second annual Mr. Valpo Pageant. They are looking for the best men to compete in four rounds; Introductions/Model Walks, Talent, Formal and Q&A, and a surprise round!
