Support From Some Of The Greatest Names In Tennis Roger Federer The IMG team in Asia have developed and managed events that included my tour versus Sampras in Korea, Malaysia and Macao in 2007, matches against Rafa in Korea and last year's Tour with myself, Borg, McEnroe and Blake. I have participated for three years in a row and did so because I have been very comfortable with their capabilities, attention to detail and the results which have not only been unique and very high quality, but fun as well. I wish them every success in their bid with the 250 event. Rafael Nadal I have played both special and Tour events in Asia and have had much contact with the IMG tennis team based in HK who have always been efficient, knowledgeable, creative and organised and a pleasure to deal with. I remember when they organised the photo shoot with Calos Moya and Juan Carlos and me in the Forbidden City in Beijing - a photo which was seen worldwide and is still used today. It is this type of management and marketing skill which will make for a successful new ATP event in Asia. Bjorn Borg It was a pleasure for me to continue my rivalry with John last November in Asia and to enhance that with some very fun doubles with Roger and James. The three stops were fun, very well organised and the IMG Asia team were on the ball and extremely capable and efficient in making it all such a success. James Blake Participating in the season ending Tour in Asia with Roger, John and Bjorn was a highlight for me made even more so by the high standards of event organisation and planning that we enjoyed on every stop. They were extremely well run events. John McEnroe The 2008 events that I participated in with Roger, James and Bjorn in Kuala Lumpur, Macao and Bangkok were extremely well planned and organised by the IMG tennis team based in Asia and the skills that I saw demonstrated during the Tour would be well placed in delivering a well organised and marketed Tour event in Asia in the future. Maria Sharapova The IMG Asia team have managed special events and tournament opportunities for me since the year 2003 to play in Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Singapore and I have found them to be extremely professional, efficient, capable and enjoyable to deal with. They would run a great Tour event and have the team and experience in Asia to build a great tournament.
