MOBILITY 2040: A Vision for the SR 54/56 Corridor Phase 1: Defining the Alternatives East Task Force Meeting Thursday, March 31, 2016 (5:30 7:30 PM) Rasmussen College, Room #102 18600 Fernview Street, Land O Lakes, FL 34638 Summary of Acons Taken The Task Force reviewed the results of the East Task Force survey of alternaves. The results of the survey responses le Alternave D and Alternave C ed with 2 votes each and a weighted score of 7. The Task Force members came to the consensus that the no-build alternave, Alternave J, would be included in their final recommendaon to the MPO Board as one of the six alternaves. With the e of Alternave D and Alternave C, the Task Force members voted on the remaining alternaves individually in developing a consensus recommendaon to the MPO Board. These alternaves were voted on in order of the weighted results from the East Task Force Survey. Robb Sercu made a moon that the Task Force recommend the add-on alternaves for Alternave Intersecon Design, including the Parallel Flow Intersecon concept presented by GFParsons, and Frontage/Service/Bypass Road to the MPO Board. The moon was seconded by Fred Krauer and passed unanimously. Robb Sercu made a moon to include Alternave H: Maintaining Exisng 6 General Purpose Lanes and At Grade Exclusive Transit in Dedicated Guideway in the Task Force Recommendaon to the MPO Board. Aer a second by Fred Krauer, this moon passed unanimously. Chrise Zimmer made a moon to include Alternave F (modified to include grade separaon at signalized intersecons): At-Grade Express Lanes; Express Bus/Other Bus Service in Express Lanes in the Task Force Recommendaon to the MPO Board. Aer a second by Fred Krauer, this moon passed unanimously. Robb Sercu made a moon to include Alternave B Grade Separaon @ Major Intersecons and At Grade Rail or Exclusive BRT using same overpasses in the Task Force Recommendaon to the MPO Board. Aer a second by Chrise Zimmer, this moon passed unanimously. Chrise Zimmer made a moon to include Alternave G (modified to include grade separaon at signalized intersecons): At Grade Express Lanes and Express Bus in Express Lanes and BRT or Rail in Dedicated Guideway in the Task Force Recommendaon to the MPO Board. Aer a second by Robb Sercu, this moon passed by a vote of 4-1.
