Gulf Yachting Association - Winter Meeting Sail Expo
One-Design Council s Proposal for the GYA Winter Meeting SAIL EXPO The ODC request that the GYA Winter Meeting take on a new format for 2010. Sunday Boat Ownership Hard Work The ODC had a great 2009 winter meeting setting goals and instilling some good ideas that should increase participation. With all positive feed-back from the council and sailors, I feel it is my task to achieve the goal and produce a three day Sail Expo like the GYA has never seen before. It is going to a difficult task but, it is not impossible! The Sail Expo is going to need to be pushed at every club meeting, regatta, party, & on every website in the GYA. Every member of every club will need to be notified to attend and bring a friend. If you would like to get involved in any way please feel free to call of email me anytime. The 2010 Expo Planning Committee will host its first meeting at the Mardi Gras Regatta in New Orleans February 28.
