Our club offers a Super Horse Saddle Award at our show (see BWApHC 2011Show Handbook) and for this special award, you will also need to be a current member in good standing of the BWApHC. The BWApHC offers year end awards for those who are current members and in good standing with our club. You must also show at the BWApHC Horse Show to be eligible for our year end awards. We cross point with the Mountain and Plains Appaloosa Horse Club (MPApHC) in Colorado - Spring Classic Horse Show May 13-15, 2011 and the Nebraska Appaloosa Horse Club (NEAPP) - Think Pink NE Appaloosa Show June 3, 2011 in Grand Island, NE. and the Wyo-Mont Appaloosa Club show (no show listed this year) - to help Appaloosa owners and exhibitors find plenty of places to show and earn points. Review the 2011 BWApHC Show Handbook for information on the different awards and the necessary criteria and point schedule used to win one, along with general rules and regulations, membership info and club purpose. LASTLY, remember you will need to have a current Health Certificate, current negative Coggins (EIA) Certificate (if coming from another state), Brand papers (crossing county lines in Wyoming or traveling into Wyoming from another state requires ownership/transport papers), ApHC Registration Certificate(s), 2011 ApHC Membership Card, and any additional documentation required to cross from your home state into Wyoming. ALL THE DOCUMENTS WILL BE REVIEWED, SOME WILL BE PHOTO COPIED and PLACED IN YOUR EXHBITOR FOLDER and SOME WILL BE CHECKED ALONG WITH YOUR HORSE(S) BEFORE YOU WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE WYOMING STATE FAIR GROUNDS. PS If you travel with companion animals (dogs, goats, etc...) make sure to check out the Rules governing them. These animals, yes dogs too, will need a current Health Certificate to enter the Wyoming State Fairgrounds. We will be abiding by the Wyoming State Fair rules, the ApHC rules, the BWApHC rules and the Wyoming Statues governing equine events.
