THE EXHIBITIONISTS Wednesday, June 27, BBC Two Wales, 10pm What happens when a national museum opens its stores of treasures to members of the public and challenges them to curate their own art exhibition for the very first time? Find out in the brand new BBC Cymru Wales series The Exhibitionists, which follows five individuals with no formal art background as they compete for the chance to stage their own exhibition at the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff. The five Exhibitionists are Julia Manser, a Swansea charity sector worker and huge fan of Swansea City FC; Darren Edgley, a florist from Llandudno who has a keen interest in tapestry and embroidery; Efa Thomas, a musician and Cardiff journalism student originally from Criccieth; Richard Simmonds from Monmouthshire, a factory worker and quiz master who enjoys karaoke and Colin Popp, a retired carpenter from Cefn Coed y Cymmer and raconteur at the local antiques store. At the end of this first programme, five become four, as one Exhibitionist is eliminated following a series of tasks which include giving a guided tour in the Museum s Impressionists gallery and choosing a personal selection of artworks from the museum s priceless collection. Dyfed Powys Police also reveal what they are doing to prevent bikers deaths on the roads. POBOL Y CWM Llun-Gwener, Mehefin 25-29, BBC Cymru ar S4C, 8pm Monday-Friday, June 25-29, BBC Wales on S4C, 8pm bbc.co.uk/pobolycwm Mae perthynas Gaynor â i merch wedi bod yn go fregus dros y blynyddoedd. Cyn i Izzy adael i deithio r byd, roedd dewis ei mam i anwybyddu yr hyn wnaeth Macs iddi yn golygu ei bod wedi colli pob parch ac ymddiriedaeth tuag ati. Ac fel petai hanes yn ailadrodd ei hun, mae Gaynor mewn cyfyng-gyngor unwaith eto. Byddai anwybyddu beth wnaeth Scott yn peryglu Izzy, ond ni fyddai gorfodi ei merch i wynebu r gwirionedd yn gwneud y tro chwaith. Efallai na fydd ei phenderfyniad yn cyfri yn y pen draw wrth i Macs gasglu r dystiolaeth sydd ei angen arno i gael gwared ar Scott am byth. Mae r cyfarfyddiad cyntaf rhyngddynt yn llawn tensiwn, a phwy feddyliai y byddai Scott yn erfyn am faddeuant er mwyn medru symud ymlaen â i fywyd? Yn hytrach na mynd â i dystiolaeth at yr heddlu, gwna Macs yn siŵr fod Izzy yn darganfod yn union sut fath o ddyn mae n bwriadu ei briodi ac mae hithau yn torri ei chalon o ganlyniad. Mewn ymgais olaf i geisio achub ei berthynas, mae Scott yn cynnig mynd ag Izzy o gwmpas y byd ac oddi wrth bawb yng Nghwmderi, ond all merch â moesau mor uchel anghofio am yr hyn wnaeth? Gaynor s relationship with her eldest daughter, Izzy, has been on somewhat shaky grounds over the years. Before she left Cwmderi to travel the world, Izzy had lost all trust in Gaynor when she chose to ignore her allegations about Macs. Now with history seemingly repeating itself, Gaynor s dilemma is an impossible one. Ignoring what Scott did to Macs would put Izzy at risk, but bearing the bad news that breaks her daughter s heart won t go down well either. It might not matter what Gaynor decides to do as Macs gathers the evidence he needs against Scott. The confrontation between them is charged as Scott looks for forgiveness so that he can move on. Rather than taking this proof to the police, Macs makes sure that Izzy finds out exactly what kind of man she intends to marry and she s devastated. In a last-ditch attempt rescue his engagement, Scott offers to take Izzy around the world and away from everyone else, but can the girl with such high morals forget what he did? Meleri Thomas
