The Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts produces one of the largest and longest-running free outdoor festivals in the nation, featuring our signature: 50 FREE NIGHTS UNDER THE STARS Established by the Westport community in 1973, The Levitt Pavilion remains an independent and unique 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that exists to: Provide free and abundant access to the performing arts; Present a diverse and dynamic spectrum of artists from around the county, the country and the globe all of whom are compensated; and Preserve and cultivate an outdoor community destination where people of all ages and backgrounds are always welcome and encouraged get to know the arts, nature, and each other. SUMMER SEASON OVERVIEW: Our signature: 50 Free Nights under the Stars features a vibrant range of performing arts, featuring music, dance, theatre, comedy, film and more! RiverSwing: A series of free evenings sprinkled throughout the season on which a pre-concert dance lesson, led by professional instructors, is offered in the style of music about to be performed. The acclaimed Melissa & Doug Children s Series returns on Wednesdays As always, the season will include a selection of ticketed events from our Stars on Tour Benefits to the Summer Gala to help underwrite the cost of our free programming and operations, as well as furthering the final phase of our capital fundraising.
