Level 1 The Neptune Programme Under 10 Boys/Girls born 2008/2007 We will offer a programme that combines Water Safety with Mini Water Polo development. We are passionate about the safety of children in the water and we believe delivering a programme that encompasses fundamental water safety with mini polo will give children the skills to be safe in deep water. We also believe that learning how to move in the water will eventually make them better and more skilled water polo players. Who will we work with? We will work with the local Flippa Ball League to run a Deep Water Polo programme for all local primary schools. This will complement the Flippa Ball League. We will give the opportunity for schools to sign up as a general programme on Sundays and will also offer an individual program for the those who would like to do it. What skills will they learn? Water Safety Programme Entering and exiting the pool safely Going under water Floating on front and back Swimming on front and back Breathing Mini Polo Programme Correct egg beater/breast kick Horizontal Body positions Body positions passing and shooting one handed Swimming techniques Head up FC, WP backstroke Ball protection Jump half turns, turning away from defenders Swimming with the ball Using space Defending between player and the goal Games in deep water Rules and regulations of WP/Flippa Ball Defensive body positions

Level 2 Fundamental Skills + Under 12s Boys/Girls born 2006/2005 and younger We will offer an under 12 programme with a focus on the fundamental skills of water polo. There will be a consistent focus on basic game play combined with the technical aspects of the game. We are also committed to help develop the mental aspects of being in a team and develop strong sportsmanship skills. We will work closely with primary and intermediate schools in the area, offering coaching support and combined development programmes. Fundamental Skills As Level One plus: Shooting off a pass Finishing 1 vs 0 Detailed passing into CF, on the water Movement into attack (wings/hooks) Positioning in attack basic arc and driving into space Pressing hips up between goal and player CB around the left, horizontal position Shooting off water legs under the ball Jump half turns/lay out shots Blocking positions Fast play in extra player

Level 3 + Under 14 Girls / Under 16 - Girls We will offer under 14 and under 16 competitive programmes with a continued focus on fundamentals. At this age we will start looking at specific positional development. We will start to develop the psychological aspects related to sport helping children evolve though the age groups. We will work with the intermediate and secondary schools in the area. Fundamental Skills As Level One and Two plus: Set attack - CF, Arc, CA Set Defenses - Zones 1,2 or 1,2,3, full or split (where to block) basic, press 5 vs 4 and 4 vs 5 Basic Physical swim and leg training Core and body weight circuits Small sided games; 4 v 4, 3 v 3 Counter Attack playing fast with set - basic All CB work round to the left, how to move in front, when to move behind Positioning in CF/2 nd CF Shooting variations Movement in attack 1 vs 1 drives/lateral in blocking lanes Team plays 1 vs 1 cutting in front, shooting around a block, defending, 5m shots Game analysis Specific counter attack movement Specific positional work positons 1,2,3,4,5 and ALL CB CF work Tactics 5vs4, 4vs5, attack and defence Fitness Training swimming, legs, med ball Circuit training - focus on technique then developing movement patterns Focus on performance
