We provide full catering with healthy options using either our private function room or our mezzanine overlooking the climbing gym. Those who have never climbed before or perhaps are a little nervous about heights will be made to feel comfortable using the equipment and shown how to safely climb the walls. All levels of climbers are welcome with instructor guidance and supervision available at all times. Spectators enter for free. Our function menu is designed with fresh quality ingredients offering you yummy options to serve your guests. We pride ourselves on serving you good quality food and most importantly healthy food. At City Summit all levels of climbers are welcome at the centre. Our priority is for your safety but also for you to have fun. Every new climber is taken through a climbing induction where we will show you the ropes and ensure you are comfortable with the equipment before leaving you to explore the walls on your own. Group pricing includes all day entry to the centre, harness hire, plus a safety and climbing induction with one of our star Instructors. If you are hosting a kids party then please be advised that there is a minimum age of 12 years to belay (holding the ropes for the climber). This is a great way to involve some of the adults with no additional entry costs. If you are unsure then please give us a call to discuss. Event Information Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to belay (the safety person on the base of the ropes) Non climbers who are belaying only will be charged $7 for harness hire with no entry charges applicable. Each participant (both climbers or belayers) is required to complete a Waiver Form prior to entry. These can found online or emailed to you. We recommend wearing sporting attire and closed in sneakers. Climbing shoes can be hired for $8. A $50 deposit is required to secure your booking. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for cancellation of your booking. Cancellations within 48 hours of event will result in a forfeit of the deposit. An account can be set up for your event with settlement at the completion of your function. Parking is available down the side of the building using the main driveway with access through the gate. Please keep the function room neat and tidy at all times. As we are a fully catered venue, please do not bring in any food with you. Of course cakes and lolly bags are welcome. Change room and shower facilities are available at the centre. Inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated in the gym. Please adhere to the rules and regulations of the centre as instructed by staff.
