GENERAL REGULATIONS PARTICIPATION 1. Only the National Federations affiliated to United World Wrestling (UWW) can participate in the Championship. They are fully responsible for entering their athletes within the deadline. 2. National Federations or Committees can enter a maximum of: a. 1 athletes per weight category, in each style (1 athlete in Grappling and 1 athlete in Grappling Gi), for the SENIOR (20+ years old, 18-19 years old are allowed to compete in Senior present a medical certificate); b. 2 athletes per weight category, in each style (2 athletes in Grappling and 2 athletes in Grappling Gi), for JUNIORS (18-19 years old), CADETS (16-17 years old); c. 2 athletes per weight category, in each style (2 athletes in Grappling and 2 athletes in Grappling Gi), for NOVICE (12-13 years old), SCHOOLBOYS (14-15 years old). d. Unlimited number of athlete per weight category for VETERAN (35+ years old) e. NOTE: Additionally can be entered up to 2 other athletes for each style and for each age class of NOVICE, SCHOOLBOYS, CADETS and JUNIORS, to be distributed in the various weight classes (e.g.: A team can decide to enter 2 additional JUNIORS in Grappling GI, for example one at 77kg and one at 84kg and enter 2 athletes for Grappling in SCHOOLBOYS, one at 42kg and one at 55kg and so on). 3. Preliminary application, confirming the number of member of the delegation should be sent to the e-mail address of the world grappling committee world.grappling@gmail.com, secrt.grappling@gmail.com and at the organizing committee at the e-mail kazgrappling@gmail.com before 1 August of the current year. 4. If the national team requires a visa, they need to send the application form to the e-mail kazgrappling@gmail.com before the 1 August. The fee for e-visa is 20 US dollars. This fee is charged for reviewing a visa application and non-refundable under any circumstances. 5. The final entries confirming the names of the participants, the number of nights of their stay should be sent to the e-mail address of the world grappling committee world.grappling@gmail.com, secrt.grappling@gmail.com and to the organizing committee at the e-mail
kazgrappling@gmail.com to the travel company s secretary and to the organizing committee before 1 August, 2018. 6. All athletes are under the responsibility of National Federations and Committees, as well as directly authorized representatives and coaches, any violation will be punish in accordance with United World Wrestling rules. 7. The organizing committee providing an Accommodation Package that include accommodation in double or triple rooms, 2 meals (breakfast and dinner) and transport (from airport/ to hotel, from hotel/ to airport). The Accommodation Package cost is 80 euro a day per person and is to be paid cash at the check in the Hotel. Note: the minimum stay for the Accommodation Package is 3 nights. 8. The Competition fee is included for those who buy the Accomodation Package. The Competition fee for each athlete that will not buy the Accomodation Package from the organizer will be 95 euro to pay cash at the accreditation. TECHNICAL CONDITIONS 1. The Championship will be held according to the United World Wrestling official rules on 3 approved wrestling mats. 2. The Championship will be held in the following weight categories: The competition will be held in the following age class and weight categories: Novices (12-13 years old) Boys and girls: 27, 30, 34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 55, 60, 66, 72, +72 kg; Schoolboys/girls (14-15 years old) Boys: 29, 32, 35, 38, 42, 47, 53, 59, 66, 73, +73 kg; Girls: 28, 30, 32, 34, 37, 40, 44, 48, 52, 57, +57 kg; Сadets (16-17 years old) Boys: 39, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 63, 69, 76, 85, +85 kg; Girls: 36, 38, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 56, 60, 65, +65 kg; Juniors (18-19 years old) Men: 58, 62, 66, 71, 77, 84, 92, +92 kg; Women: 49, 53, 58, 64, 71, +71 kg; Veterans (35-60 years old) Men: 62, 66, 71, 77, 84, 92, 100, +100 kg; Women: 53, 58, 64, 71, +71 kg; Seniors (20 and older) Men: 62, 66, 71, 77, 84, 92, 100, +100 kg; Women: 53, 58, 64, 71, +71 kg.
Athletes of 18-19 years old would be allowed to compete on the Seniors category only after providing a medical certificate. Age and citizenship will be checked during weigh in during passport control. 3. Each competitor will be requested to undergo a medical examination before the official weigh-in, during which his/her competition uniforms will be inspected for compliance to UWW rules. 4. The drawing of the lots position in the brackets will be done by computer during the creation of the brackets. 5. The competitors are allowed to enter several styles (Grappling Grappling gi), provided that they undergo the official weigh-in and a draw held the morning before the beginning of every style. If the registered athlete has not turned up by the end of the official weigh-in time to re-check his/her weight and draw a number, he/she will be removed from the brackets and will not be allowed to compete. 6. Athletes are required to have the United World Wrestling License for the competition year 2018, that include health insurance. License will be paid at the accreditation to the Technical Delegate at the cost of: a. 100 EUR/110 US/100 CHF dollars for Seniors, Juniors and Veterans (Annual License valid until 31.12.2018) b. 50 EUR/50 USD/50 CHF for Cadets (Annual License valid until 31.12.2018) c. 30 EUR/30 USD/30 CHF for Cadets and Juniors (Temporary License valid only for this tournament). To purchase is required a medical certificate, a copy of the passport and the athlete. 7. Each Competitors will be required to wear approved competition uniform complying with the international regulations of United World Wrestling, that is: Grappling: shorts and rashguard. The first athlete called to the mat shall wear a red rashguard, the second one a blue rashguard. Note: Shorts shall be of Board Shorts kind (length of the short shall be from mid-thigh to the knee; compression shorts and leggings may be wear only under Board Shorts). Grappling Gi: the first athlete called to the mat shall wear a red gi, the second a blue gi. 8. The abbreviation of the country should be attached to the back of the athlete's form (3 capital letters max. 10 cm high). 9. Individual prizes will be played for each weight category: 1st place gold medal, certificate; 2nd place silver medal, certificate; 3rd place 2 bronze medals, certificate.
10. 3 Best teams will receive a Cup. 11. The organizers will conduct a random anti-doping test. The relevant categories will be selected and publicly announced at the end of the competition. The laboratory used to analyze these tests will be approved by IOC / WADA. The procedure for testing and transporting samples to the laboratory is laid down in the rules of the UWW and WADA antidoping test. REFEREE 1. In accordance with UWW rules, a delegation that provides more than three athletes (for each style) will have to provide one referee with the highest qualification in that country. The National Federation or the Committee, which does not comply with this rule, will be penalized at the end of the year. 2. All referees will pass the seminar, which will be on 05.09.2018 at 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the conference hall of the hotel "DUMAN". 3. All referees must have appropriate clothing: black polo, black straight pants and black canvas shoes with light soles or black socks. COACHES 1. Only one coach can stay on the competitors corner. The coaches must wear their national team tracksuit when performing their match duties and abide by the international code of Conduct at all times. OFFICIAL CEREMONY 1. The team leaders must confirm their country s national anthem at the time of accreditation in order to avoid any unpleasant situation at the time the award ceremonies. 2. Each participating team must be present at the opening ceremony in according to the organizing committee s instructions. 3. The national anthem will be played for each champion and for the team victory.
