November 2015 Longhorn Roundup Dear Leon Springs Families, Fall is here.and we can finally feel it. Each year, I wait patiently for my favorite season to arrive. Fall brings crisp weather, football, beautifully colored trees, fun holidays.and for me, very special memories. This is also the time of year that we pause and give thanks. I am thankful for the entire Leon Springs Elementary learning community. I am thankful for our students, teachers, parents and staff members who work each day to make this school so very special. Leon Springs Elementary is a rich, vibrant, thriving learning community. Great things are happening at this school each and every day! As I visit classrooms I am observing students who are highly engaged in authentic and meaningful learning. Teachers are investing countless hours collaborating, planning and designing lessons.
