HANG ON HONEY (Renee Forrest) Slow into stride. LIL KIM (Takahide Ikenushi) Raced keenly when leading in the early and middle stages. ROCK AND RIFF (Jason Brown) Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages and wide from the 500m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. RACE 2: WESTSPEED 3YO HANDICAP - 1400M COMPULSORY (Steven Parnham) Over-raced in the early and middle stages. LOUIS LEWIE (Glenn Smith) - Jumped awkwardly. PRICELESS ROCK (Jason Whiting) Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip to his left hand near the 50m. TSUNAMI EXPRESS (Kyra Yuill) Commenced to over-race when crossed by another runner approaching the 1000m. Continued to race ungenerously until near the 800m. WARBROOK (Shaun O'Donnell) - Raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. Lay inwards in the straight with the rider using the whip in his left hand near the 250m and as a result was unable to fully assist his mount in the straight. COCHETA (Chris Parnham) Slow into stride. SIMONE (Clinton Porter) Slow into stride. Raced keenly in the early stages and wide from the 1000m. RACE 3: WESTSPEED 3YO HANDICAP - 1000M MULTIMAGIC (Chris Parnham) - Slow into stride and shortly after was crowded between runners and steadied, losing ground. Raced wide for the majority of the event. PHANTOM CHOICE (Steven Parnham) - Jumped awkwardly and shortly afterwards was carried inwards and bumped. Raced wide throughout. LEICA HUSSY (Renee Forrest) Knuckled at the start and veered inwards. LILLA MY (Lucas Camilleri) Bumped shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip through to his right hand near the 250m. NIPPEE NEDDEE (Ellie Cockram) Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
BELMONT : 13.08.14 13/2 Race 3 Continued PETITE METALLIQUE (Jerry Noske) Steadied and veered inwards when racing fiercely approaching the 600m. Rider reported that the filly raced greenly throughout. SONATA IN DEE (Kyra Yuill) Slow into stride. STREETDANE (Lucy Warwick) Steadied inwards approaching the 600m. Lay outwards throughout. RACE 4: PERTH RACING ON FACEBOOK & TWITTER HANDICAP - 2100M ANCIENT SPELL (Shaun Mc Gruddy) Raced wide in the early stages. NUNCA TE RINDAS (Steven Parnham) Passing the winning post on the first occasion raced in restricted room and bumped and raced ungenerously for a short distance shortly after. Had a tendency to over-race in the middle stages. Raced wide from the 600m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr F. Kersley undertook to monitor the gelding s recovery and advise Stewards of any abnormalities that may arise. QUINTESSENCE (Lucy Warwick) Improved onto the heels of another runner and bumped at the 400m. CONFIANZA (Emma Stent) Raced wide throughout. MILITARY SERVICE (Brad Parnham) Raced wide from the 1200m. SAXON SAXOFF (Jerry Noske) Rider was reminded of her obligations to ride her mounts out fully to the finish. DANDI LOU (Joseph Azzopardi) Held up for a short distance on straightening and taken outwards MADAM'S DREAM (Shaun O'Donnell) - Jumped awkwardly. MOODRIDE (Renee Forrest) Raced wide in the early stages. THE LADIES CHOICE (Lucas Camilleri) Held tight momentarily when under pressure approaching the 400m and bumped. General: Apprentice L. Warwick (QUINTESSENCE) and Jockey L. Camilleri (THE LADIES CHOICE) were shown a section of the film between the 500m and on straightening where Apprentice Warwick improved to the outside of THE LADIES CHOICE and to the inside of MOONRIDE s (R. Forrest) heels which shifted inwards marginally tightening THE LADIES CHOICE and bumping with that runner. Apprentice L. Warwick was advised that when attempting to improve her position she does not allow her mounts to shift to the inside of other runners heels which will dictate her mount s movements but rather to stay behind the runner and improve into the race in this manner. RACE 5: PR ULTIMATE SPORTS DAY EVERY SATURDAY HANDICAP - 1700M SATURDAY SKIES (Mitchell Pateman) Threw its head on jumping. Raced keenly in the early stages. Steadied when passing the finish post. NIGHT PROWLER (Shaun O'Donnell) Raced wide throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr W. Mitchell advised that the gelding may not have appreciated the step up distance and will attempt to have it race over a decreased distance at its next start. SAXON'S PATCH (Natasha Faithfull) Dictated outwards by another runner over the concluding stages. DUKE OF VASAC (Brad Parnham) Slow into stride. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. THIS CAT ROCKS (Lucy Warwick) Lay inwards approaching the 200m
BELMONT : 13.08.14 13/3 Race 5 Continued SORDELLO (Glenn Smith) Held up for clear running on straightening and again approaching the 150m. Was further impeded over the concluding stages and was unable to ride his mount out fully to the finish. THEBIGIAM (Patrick Carbery) Raced wide on straightening. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr S. Casey s representative advised that she would monitor the gelding s recovery and continue with its current preparation. WITHA BLAZE (Clinton Porter) Raced wide throughout. RACE 6: TABTOUCH HOME OF RACING & SPORTS BETTING HANDICA - 1300M RULING FORCE (Joseph Azzopardi) Slow into stride. Held up for clear running from on straightening until being angled inwards at the 200m to obtain clear running. When questioned regarding racing to the back of the field, rider advised that in view of him drawing a barrier position to the extreme outside of the field rather than ride his mount forward at the start and hope to be able to get a position mid-field with cover, he had elected to take up a rearward position knowing there was a cutaway in place for today s meeting. LET'S LIGHTEN UP (Lucy Warwick) Steadied passing the 1200m. Had a tendency to over-race in the early and middle stages. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be mildly lame in the off fore. UNPRETENTIOUS LASS (Jerry Noske) Raced wide throughout. Carried outwards at the 250m and bumped. ZUCCHEROS (Steven Parnham) Returned having bled from both nostrils during running. Trainer Mr F. Kersley was advised that the gelding would now suffer the disabilities of ARR.53A. HIGHLY SECRET (NZ) (William Pike) Raced ungenerously in the early stages and wide throughout. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the mare had not raced genuinely throughout running and had disappointed in the straight. Trainer Mr Grant Williams advised that he would experiment with head gear in an attempt to have the mare race in a more true manner. RACE 7: TABTOUCH-YOUR INDUSTRY YOUR TAB HANDICAP - 1200M BERKSHIRE (Lucy Warwick) Cantankerous in the mounting enclosure and proved difficult in its preliminary with the rider being mounted on the course proper in order to have the gelding proceed to the barrier. Raced ungenerously in the early stages. ROUGEAU (Joseph Azzopardi) Impeded and steadied inwards approaching the 200m. EXECUTIVE ACTION (Steven Parnham) Raced wide throughout. MATCHING MOTORS (Chris Parnham) Lay inwards in the straight with the rider electing to use the whip in his right hand from the 250m. LONGSCHAMP (Jerry Noske) Steadied from heels when attempting to hold a forward position approaching the 800m. ARTISTIC LIFE (Sasha Starley) - Dwelt at the start and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority of the event. VALMONT (Lisa Staples) - Steadied passing the 800m. BARAMBAS BID (Kyra Yuill) Rider advised that the mare may have resented commencing from barrier one and racing amongst runners in the early and middle stages where at its last start it had raced three-wide with cover and had travelled more comfortably in running in that position. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr I. Haggerty undertook to monitor the gelding s recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. FRIAR'S LUCK (Ellie Cockram) Slow into stride. HEEZA TORIO (Troy Turner) Raced wide throughout.
BELMONT : 13.08.14 13/4 RACE 8: www.tabtouch.com.au HANDICAP - 1000M OOSTERMAN was a late withdrawal by Stewards at 12:40pm when Trainer Ms T. Frizzell advised that the gelding was found to have a bruised near fore heel. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. SOVEREIGN DEBT (William Pike) Restrained outwards passing the 600m. BIG JACK (Lucy Warwick) Approaching the 600m the gelding attempted to jump a section of the track and shortly after mis-strode and blundered for no apparent reason with the rider becoming unbalanced and then the gelding failing to run on in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr G. Williams was shown a film of this incident and undertook to monitor the gelding s recovery and advise Stewards accordingly. Following the race Stewards conducted an inspection of the track between the 500m and the 600m to ascertain whether the reaction of the gelding had any relevance to the track surface. Stewards deemed the track surface in this area to be consistent and safe. FLYING ZOE (Andrew Castle) - Raced wide throughout. GINGERMAN (Ellie Cockram) Steadied outwards approaching the 600m. OPEN ERA (Jerry Noske) Raced wide throughout. Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip to her left hand at the 150m. PROFOUND EFFECT (Troy Turner) Lay outwards through the middle stages. BUTTERFLY KISS (Jordan Turner) Held up for clear running on straightening and steadied inwards approaching the 20m when laying outwards. GENERAL Routine specimens were taken from all winners. Westspeed Stayers' Bonus Handicap 2100m VIEIRA DA SILVER - Trainer M Santich later advised that an endoscopic examination of the mare revealed particulate matter lodged in the trachea. The mare will now be given a short let up and consideration will be given to continuing with the current campaign.

Mitchell advised that on return to the stable WANNABE A MAK was found to be suffering from a mild virus and was undergoing treatment. Belmont Saturday, 9 August 2014 Race 1. Westspeed 3yo Handicap 1000m ROEBUCK - Trainer N Parnham later advised that an endoscopic examination revealed the colt to have some mucus in its airways. The colt has since been treated and consideration would be given to gear changes with the intention of racing over an increased distance at its next start. Belmont Saturday, 9 August 2014 - Race 1. Westspeed 3yo Handicap 1000m HOLD YOUR TONGUE -Trainer D Luciani later advised that the gelding had returned with swelling over its eye socket, which he attributed to the gelding striking its head on the barriers while jumping awkwardly. The gelding will now trial prior to continuing with its current campaign. Belmont Saturday, 9 August 2014 - Race 3. The Ultimate Sports Day Handicap 1200m KARRATHA CROSSING Trainer A Durrant later advised that the mare would now be retired. Belmont Saturday, 9 August 2014 - Race 3. The Ultimate Sports Day Handicap 1200m Trainer Mr D. Jones advised that WINK AND A NOD had since undergone a lung wash which revealed no abnormalities and it was his intention not to start the mare for a period of four weeks. Belmont Saturday, 9 August 2014 - Race 5. Tabtouch-Your Industry Your Tab Handicap 1600m ON THE ROPES Trainer F Kersley later advised that upon return to the stables the gelding underwent an endoscopic examination which revealed no abnormalities. Trainer also advised that he believes that the gelding was unsuited by the tempo of the race and would now be given a short let up. Kalgoorlie Sunday, 10 August 2014 Race 7. Sheffield s & Variety Charity Sprint 1400m Trainer Mr P. Fernie reported that blood samples taken from AKHEDASSET had revealed slightly high muscle enzymes which may have contributed to the performance. H.
