Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip to his left hand passing the 300m. HARTLEY'S HOPE (Andrew Castle) Raced keenly through the early stages and was held tight for a short distance passing the 1000m. Crowded and restrained from heels getting its head in the air near the 900m. Raced greenly through the middle stages and lay inwards in the straight. HYDE PARK FLYER (Jarrad Noske) Raced wide from the 500m. ORATORIO'S PRIDE (Shaun Meeres) Impeded for a short distant near the 275m. SHOSTAKOVICH (Ellie Cockram) Lay inwards passing the 100m. SIBENIK (Steven Parnham) Slow into stride. Shoeing Change: BLUR SONG Bare (Hinds) General: Stewards inquired into the reason for HARTLEY S HOPE (Andrew Castle) becoming crowded having to be restrained near the 900m. Apprentice Ellie Cockram(SHOSTAKOVICH) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under ARR.137(a) for allowing her mount to shift inwards near the 900m when insufficiently clear of HARTLEY S HOPE (Andrew Castle) causing the above interference. Apprentice Cockram subsequently had her permit to ride in races suspended for a period of 10 days to commence from midnight 23 August 2014 and to expire at midnight 2 September 2014. When assessing penalty, Stewards took into account Apprentice Cockram s good riding record, in that she had not been suspended since January 2013 and has had 973 rides in that time. RACE 2: WESTSPEED STAYERS' BONUS HANDICAP - 2100M MAKE YOUR OWN (Peter Knuckey) A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with an elevated heart rate and slow to recover. Trainer Mr Simon Miller s representative advised that he would have the gelding undergo a full Veterinary examination on return to the stables and advise Stewards of any abnormalities. SAXON'S PATCH (Natasha Faithfull) Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Raced wide from the 800m. RACE 3: NORANDA TENNIS CLUB HANDICAP - 1400M SHARP TURN (Chris Parnham) Raced wide on straightening.
BELMONT : 20.08.14 19/2 Race 3 Continued NOVADARL (Lucy Warwick) - Rider reported that after commencing well from its barrier the mare had raced more predominately than expected. MIDNIGHT SHIMMER (William Pike) Bumped at the 1200m. HOLD THE MONEY (Shaun Meeres) Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout. Commenced to race keenly passing the 1200m and was bumped outwards shortly after. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned with an elevated heart rate and slow to recover. Trainer Mr D. Cova advised that he would have the mare undergo a full blood analysis on return to the stables and advise Stewards of any abnormalities. SYNOPTIC (Renee Forrest) - Bumped at the 1200m and raced wide from the 800m. CRYSTAL GARDENS (Joseph Azzopardi) Shifted outwards at the 100m in order to obtain a clear run. THE DANEHILL ROSE (Troy Turner) Raced keenly through the middle stages. MISS HALLOWEEN (Shaun O'Donnell) - Rider reported that after commencing well from its barrier the mare had raced more predominately than expected. Impeded for clear running from on straightening until near the 250m. MOSHALO (Danny Miller) Bumped and unbalanced at the 1200m and shortly after was steadied when improving onto heels and brushed the inside running rail. Impeded for clear running from on straightening until obtaining a clear passage at the 250m. LEQUEST (Lucy Warwick) - Slow into stride. Rider advised that the mare faltered in its action on a number of occasions between the 800m and the 600m. Blocked for clear running over the final 100m. ZONTE (Renee Forrest) Raced keenly through the middle stages and wide from the 600m. SECRET DIVA (Shaun O'Donnell) Raced wide throughout. GOLD GLOW (William Pike) Slow into stride. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages and was restrained outwards getting its head in the air when improving onto heels near the 850m and continued to race ungenerously and was again steadied when improving onto heels passing the 500m. Impeded for clear running from on straightening until angled inwards at the 150m. FAIRWAY TO VENUS (Jason Brown) Commenced awkwardly and dipped on jumping and raced wide throughout. FAST FLOWING (NZ) (Jarrad Noske) A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr D. Morton undertook to monitor the mare s recovery over the ensuing days and advise Stewards of any abnormalities. CLUMSY (Chris Parnham) Lay inwards in the straight with the rider using the whip in his left hand passing the 200m. PURE HEAVEN (Shelby Bowtell) - Commenced awkwardly. RACE 5: TABTOUCH HOME OF RACING & SPORTS BETTING HANDICAP - 1200M ARSENAL POWER (William Pike) Bumped on jumping. HALE BOY (Jordan Turner) - Commenced awkwardly. Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip into his left hand at the 150m. HURRITDANZ (Lucy Warwick) Raced wide for the majority of the event. Returned with a laceration to the off hind heel.

Raced wide throughout. SUPPOSITION (Jarrad Noske) Bumped and crowded on jumping. GREY ENIGMA (Brad Parnham) Bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide throughout. POLYRIO (Patrick Carbery) Bumped and buffeted shortly after the start. Raced in restricted room near the 1100m and then steadied getting its head in the air. Commenced to over-race in the middle stages and was steadied when improving onto heels approaching the 800m. POLAR CAT (Steven Parnham) Bumped, crowded and steadied shortly after the start. Rider was reminded of his obligations of riding his mounts out fully to the end of the race and was cautioned in this regard. WANDERER (William Pike) Impeded for clear running from on straightening until taken outwards approaching the 200m. LADY BY CHANCE (Lucy Warwick) Over-raced in the middle stages. ROCK STAR BABY (Lucas Camilleri) Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. VARANASI (Shaun O'Donnell) When racing keenly was steadied near the 1300m. Held up for clear running from on straightening until the 200m. CASHERE MISS (Lisa Staples) Raced wide throughout. Lay inwards in the straight. MOODRIDE (Shaun Mc Gruddy) When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance, Trainer Ms K. Kersley advised that the mare had raced wide at its last start and had appreciated the Slow (6) track condition that prevailed at today s meeting. ROKEBY'S WITCH (Chris Parnham) Raced wide from the 500m. SUPER FRIARED (Jerry Noske) - Slow into stride. Raced wide from the 600m. Rider was reminded of her obligations with regard to using the whip when her mounts are out of contention and was cautioned in this regard. RACE 7: PR ULTIMATE SPORTS DAY EVERY SATURDAY HANDICAP - 1650M GREAT ODYSSEY (Joseph Azzopardi) - Commenced awkwardly. LE SCHILLER (Mitchell Pateman) Raced wide until obtaining the lead from the 1000m. STREET BANDIT (Chris Parnham) Raced wide from the 800m. THIS CAT ROCKS (Lucy Warwick) Lay inwards in the straight and as a result was impeded for clear running from on straightening until passing the 300m. ANCIENT SPELL (Shaun Mc Gruddy) Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and wide throughout. DANECAN (Brad Parnham) When questioned, rider advised that the gelding had come under pressure from the 600m and was obliged to be ridden forward in order for it to maintain its position in the field and was disappointing and failed to finish the race off as anticipated. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. HELETEX (Andrew Castle) Impeded for a short distance on straightening. MOSCATINI (Steven Parnham) Impeded for clear running from on straightening until the 200m.
