FINANCIAL CONTRACT We realize that cheerleading is an expensive sport, however we try to cut the cost down as much as possible through fundraising and taking care of what we have. There are, however, certain items that cannot be passed down from squad to squad and have to be purchased by the individual. Additionally, each cheerleader is responsible for paying camp tuition. We cannot guarantee these will be the only costs throughout the year but these are the required pieces of clothing and accessories each cheerleader is required to have. Camp with Spirit Xpress : @ Central High school: $200 NEW Female Cheerleader s TOTAL: Poms (2) Black body liner Spanx Shorts (2) Shoes Warm-Up Jacket Warm-Up Pants Backpack W/ Logo Hoodie T-shirts (3) Bows (Comp, PINK, Game(s)) $400.00ish NEW Male Cheerleader s TOTAL: Shoes Warm-Up Jacket Warm-Up Pants Backpack W/ Logo Hoodie T-shirts (2) $270.00ish I have read the cheerleader financial requirements for the 2018-2019 school year and have discussed it with my students. I understand that the cost above are an estimate from last year and will change. However, the cost will not exceed $600 per cheerleader. The cheerleading coaching staff will do everything in their power to maintain the lowest individual cost. Remember these are approximate costs and will be more final at tryouts but will not be higher than stated here. The first payment will be made APRIL 23rd, 2018 At the Parent Meeting The FINAL payment will need to be made MAY 11th, 2018. ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL In the event that my student is selected and is unable to fulfill their obligation as a cheerleader, I understand the money paid for clothing, camp, and any other items can NOT be refunded. The purpose of being on the Greeley Central Cheerleading squad is to promote GCHS spirit, to motivate and inspire Wildcat fans, and to maintain a good sense of sportsmanship. In addition to supporting GCHS teams the goal of the squad is to establish positive relationships with other team members, other schools, and other fans within our conference. Cheerleaders will serve as positive role models and leaders for GCHS and throughout the community, as well as challenging themselves to work at improving their skills individually, as well as a team. The TEAM - The Varsity squad will consist of up to 25 freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who will cheer at Varsity sports games, competitions and pep rally events as determined by the coaches. Practices - Cheerleaders will report appropriately dressed in t-shirt, shorts, cheers shoes, with jewelry off, and if your hair is longer than your shoulders prepare to put it up. - A tentative schedule will be given out at the beginning of each month with practice, location, and times. - All practices are mandatory. - If there is an absence it must be cleared with the coach prior to the absence, work will not be excused. If you are ill, you must bring a note from your parents to the next practice stating that you were ill. Squad members may not participate in any practice or game activity on the days that they are absent from school. Games - All cheerleaders will get a schedule of the games they are required to attend. All cheerleaders will be at these set games unless otherwise specified. - When cheering the squad will wear the official uniform designated for that game. Everyone is to match, we are a TEAM. Attendance - ABSENCES CAN BE THE DOWNFALL OF A GREAT CHEERLEADING SQUAD! - You are expected to be at all games and practices. Jobs, club activities, extracurricular activities, doctor s appointments, etc. must not interfere with cheerleading. - Unexcused absences are those caused by anything other than illness or family emergencies. In addition, just because a cheerleader asks to be excused it doesn t mean that the excuse will be granted. - Missing Practice Tardy for practice -- extra conditioning! Leaving early for work/ personal reasons -- you will sit out 1 quarter at the next game. Missing practice for reasons other than illness/family emergency -- sit out 2 quarters. Having to sit out more than 2 games in a season will result in being asked to step down as a cheerleader. - Missing Games Missing games, or events is inexcusable unless a parent has notified coaches to inform of illness or family emergency.

If for any reason a cheerleader quits or is dismissed, he/she is expected to return all uniforms/equipment within 5 days of the termination. - These uniforms must be kept clean, this includes spanks, socks, body liners, and warm-ups. - Hair must be out of your face and off of your shoulders. - Absolutely no jewelry!
