We couldn t do it without all the volunteers who agreed to help with shows, project check-in, judging, watching buildings, etc. We are always amazed by the great community support from Dubois County! Adult Leader Meeting on August 25th at 7pm There will be an adult leader meeting on Thursday, August 25th at 7pm in the Clover Pavilion. The meeting is taking place in August, so we can discuss this year s fair and make suggestions while it s still fresh in our minds. The meeting will also feature a training for adult leaders as well. In addition, this year s enrollment will be discussed. Please make sure there is at least one leader from each club present at the meeting. Questions? The online enrollment and reenrollment window will start on October 1st and last until January 15th. Robotics Information We will be hosting a robotics event where youth will be able to learn and experience different types of robots. We will have some Edison Robots, EV3 robots, and other robotic activities available for people to engage with at the event. Be on the look out for a date and time for this exciting event. We hope to be starting an official robotics 4-H club this year. Please contact the office if you or someone you know would be interested in volunteering to help with this club. 4-H Expo The date for this year s 4-H EXPO will be Thursday, October 20th in the Clover Pavilion. The time is still TBD, but we will let you know very soon. 4-H Fair Pictures The 4-H Expo is a fun event to introduce the community to 4-H and let people know what we are all about. We invite everyone (not just new members) to come and celebrate with us at this event. Youth qualifying for this award are typically in their ninth or tenth year of 4-H. Katherine Hurst Bright Futures Award: This award is sponsored by Green Leaf and the Tractor Supply Company.
