I have achieved a lot in this series from being the youngest driver ever to win a class championship in my first year and be promoted straight to the premier Gold class after my rookie season, to being the youngest ever driver to take a win in the premier Gold class against veterans and finish the season second overall. At the end of my second and third season, I had taken the most victories out of any other driver and the second most in 2013. 2014 was a dreadful season full of mechanical issues and bad luck. In the off season we spend a lot of time ensuring the car was ready for action in 2015 and this proved successful as we dominated the 2015 season and were crowned champions. Karting 2005, GP juniors & 2006 moved on to Mini Max where I competed locally and nationally finishing 4 th in the Western Province Regional Championship. 2007, Junior Max regionally and nationally. Finished 3 rd in the Western Province Regional Championship and 10 th in the National championship after only completing two out of the four rounds. 2008-2009 Junior Max 3 rd in championship and prepared my own kart for the years. I admire drivers like Fernando Alonso who throughout his career so far has not always had the best equipment, but has never given up. I aspire to being a professional racing driver and perform both on and off the track bringing value to the sport and success to the team that supports me in my career. He is a person who has not always had the best equipment but he will never give up. He will drive the wheels off the car he is given and will always somehow make the impossible seem possible. I can see a lot of similarities with Alonso and I. We both have a never give up attitude and will push 110% for 100% of the time. When a win is not possible, but a podium is, Alonso will never become discouraged, he will fight until the end and this will normally result in a position which was initially out of his reach. I do not believe in abandoning a team if they are not winning or doing well, I believe in helping them build to become stronger and more competitive. Volunteering A two day and night underprivileged camp acting mentor to vulnerable and less fortunate children.
