COACHING PROGRAM
Through our European network, Gestsports develops a comprehensive program for soccer coaches wishing to train and learn with the Spanish methodology, currently recognised to be one of the best in the world. Gestsports provides official coaching football courses via the formation of strategic partnerships with Football Federations and coaching associations in Spain. Our coaches can obtain official licenses such as: UEFA B, UEFA A and UEFA PRO. Gestports arrange the following coaching courses in Spain: Level 1 in Coaching Football UEFA B. Level 2 in Coaching Football UEFA A. Level 3 in Coaching Football UEFA PRO.
The courses will be in the official headquarters of the Federations or associations that have agreements with Gestsports. The classes are given by a highly skilled team, composed by professional very experienced in the field: Spanish coaches licensed with the highest grade level 3 National (UEFA PRO), with extensive experience as a player and coach, strenght and conditioning graduates, sports psychologists, physiotherapists, etc.. We offer to complete this academic training with practical "hands on" in the filed, introducing our coaches in clubs that work with us and being placed into teams during plays in order to actively participate and work with Spanish methodology with the players. Be able to effectively communicate in Spanish (B2 level recommended) it is really important as most of the classes will be in Spanish*. * We could provide if necessary a translator for groups of 15 students.
COACHING PATHWAYS Gestsports coaching program provides a comprehensive approach to developing coaches from grassroots to elite level. The coach education pathway maps the learner journey from a new coach undertaking their first course right through to the advanced qualifications required to manage at an elite level. There are various strands in coach education pathway in Spain. The core strand comprises of the Level 1 in Coaching Football through to the Level 3 (UEFA PRO) in Coaching Football. The first step for new coaches is to take the Level 1 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football. This course provides you with an introduction to coaching the game and working with players from under seven to open age The Level 2 (UEFA A) course focuses on key aspects related to the role of a football coach working with teams. Through practical elements you will learn more about various principles, including attacking, defending, midfield play, counter-attacking and much more. The Level 2 (UEFA A) in Coaching Football follows the Level 1 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football and can lead onto the Level 3 (UEFA PRO) in Coaching Football. Both these courses are suitable for elite level coaches.
Level 1 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football This internationally recognised qualification will develop your ability to look at the players you work with and explore how you can help develop them by designing practices that encourage decision-making, while meeting their technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social needs. Aims It will help you understand the demands of the game and how to meet the needs of players as they build a deeper understanding of their various roles and responsibilities within the team. Level 2 (UEFA A) in Coaching Football This course is for coaches working within or aspiring to work within the professional game in senior and or youth development environments. Aims To develop coaches who are creative and curious To extend coaches understanding and the importance of: Reflective study, Coaching and learning. To identify coaches who have the appropriate coaching and learning skills. To build on coaches understanding of advanced skills, tactics, strategies and systems of play. Level 3 (UEFA PRO) in Coaching Football The Level 3 (UEFA PRO) is the mandatory qualification for all first team managers who wish to work in the professional level. The course is designed to prepare managers and coaches to work at the elite level of the game in a managerial capacity. Learning programme The course of learning is made up of 600 hours (total qualification time) / 190 hours (guided learning). Prepare yourself to work at the elite level of the game
10 MONTH PROGRAM 20 MONTH PROGRAM INTENSIVE PROGRAM You will Obtain UEFA B Licence. UEFA A Licence. You will Obtain UEFA B Licence. UEFA A Licence. UEFA PRO* Licence You will Obtain UEFA B Licence. UEFA A Licence. UEFA PRO* Licence Course duration: September to June. In the afternoons coaches will do practices collaboration with a partner club within the federation, and will be part of the technical staff team. For coaches that sign up to obtain UEFA B Licence, they must first pass a physical - technical tests. Course duration: 2 full years course From September to February: Practice as head coach within one of our club associate. From March to July: Getting the title UEFA PRO. In the afternoons, the coaches will do practices with a partner club within the federation, and will be part of the technical staff team. * In order to register for the course UEFA PRO the coach must have completed six months of practice as head coach from the time that he completed the course UEFA A. Course timing: From June 15 to August 15 approximately. In this program you will obtain in two month the UEFA A and UEFA B Licence. For the UEFA PRO Licence will be required complete intensive program * In order to register to the Level 3 (UEFA PRO) course, it is necessary to complete 6 months of practice as head coach after the Level 2 (UEFA A) course is completed.
SERVICES These are some of the services we offer to our coaches: We provide letters of invitation for the visa and we assess you in all the steps to get it. We offer accommodation in flat shared with other coaches of the program (individual rooms) or help in finding the type of accommodation the client wishes. We seek and provide one of the Madrid soccer club from the federation for practices. We help the coach in all the handling process in order to obtain the titles and the new federation license as head coach. Sports training and advice at all times. Airport pick up and drop off.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED Be at least 18 years of age. Academic qualifications (High School or equivalent according to the curriculum of each country). Copy of Passport documentation. Copy of NIE, passport, documentation must be in vigor. Photography Driving license type. Medical certificate from approved center - (we help you to get it). Being in shape" physicaly and ready for the technical tests previously performed in order to obtain the UEFA B Licence.
