Respected Sir/Madam, TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN We at Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) are pleased to inform you that TEAM XTREME, a team of undergraduate students of our university has taken up the challenge to design and develop an ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE for the BAJA INDIA, collegiate event to be held in Pithampur, Indore organized by SAE INDIA. The car conceived, designed and fabricated by TEAM XTREME participated in the Baja- South Africa, 2010 where it established the milestone of being the 1st Indian team to survive the 4 hours endurance race in the recent past. The team was declared Runners Up in the Best Design Report Category. It also bagged 1st position in Originality and Innovation, 1st in Suspension and Brake Design. This is one of the most successful performances by any college team overseas. The aim of the competition is to design and build a prototype of a rugged single seat ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE whose design can be used by a firm to manufacture the vehicle commercially. This All Terrain Vehicle can be used by Army Personnel, Agriculturist and Motor Sports enthusiasts to negotiate different terrains consisting of swamps, rocky areas, hills, shallow water, logs, steep incline, mud etc. The vehicle design can be well incorporated in the real world and may find the following uses: As a light combat ground vehicle by the military. As a light and cheap agricultural vehicle. As a construction site multi-purpose vehicle. As an excavation and rescue vehicle for unreachable terrains. WHY YOU SHOULD SPONSOR US? The team has shown its domination and desire to improve in the Indian Baja racing scene by securing 10th position out of 120 teams and 4th position out of 135 teams in Baja SAE India 2009 and 2010 respectively. Team Xtreme in the recent past has had a dream run in both the Indian and Overseas Events showing great improvement with each appearance. The year 2009-2010 saw major changes in team s methodology, design and attitude towards MINI BAJA. Extensive research and multitude of testing levels is now the team s sole motto. An upgraded chassis, a new transmission and steering system and advanced suspension are no match to any other Baja vehicle. Owing to its immense experience and impressive performances in the off-road racing, the team mentors various colleges like Amity, IGIT, MAIT, YMCA, Jamia and Manipal. The team uses state-of-the-art equipments, softwares and facilities to design, fabricate and test the vehicle. WHAT WE OFFER YOU? 1. MEDIA COVERAGE TEAM Xtreme Mini Baja enjoys media coverage through interviews and special segments on the car by national dailies like TOI, HT, The Hindu, Dainik Bhaskar and news channels such as Star News, Aaj Tak, NDTV, DD National in slots of 4-5 minutes, giving immense brand visibility to your company. There will be media coverage of our vehicle before we leave for the event we participate in. 2. ON THE VEHICLE The name and logo of your firm will be put at prominent positions on the car and the apparel worn by the team ensuring great visibility to your brand. The vehicle can be used by the title sponsor for any promotional event in the company. The colour combination of the vehicle can be decided as per the choice of the title sponsor.

COLLGE EVENTS Invitations to your delegates will be sent out to participate in seminars organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of our college to guide the students and you will be invited for the HR meet and alumni meet of the university. The car will be showcased at a number of events where your logo will prominently be displayed. These events include: Cultural fest of DTU which attracts over 20,000 visitors from all over the country over a period of 4 days. DTU s Technical fests like Innova in association with SAE, Troika in association with IEEE, Phoenix in association with CSI and Renaissance in association with IET which attract the brightest technical minds from all over the country. Other On-Campus activities like fresher s orientation and the convocation ceremony that reach out to engineering professionals and over 10,000 students from a broad spectrum of interests. 4. AT THE EVENT Mini Baja competition (India and U.S.A.) will host over 5,000 participants from around the world, with a huge number of spectators, including reporters and officials from various industries. The team shall carry banners, posters and brochures to the pits allotted to them at the competition site to promote the sponsors. 5.
