This week they kicked off their new "Birthdays with a Badge" program with a special birthday celebration for one lucky Bobcat, Shelby Predmore. Shelby was randomly selected from BMS students with February birthdays. She was given a gift and a cake to share with her classmates! Students had a chance to ask questions about school safety too. The Joseph-Beth Book Fair will be at Bridgetown Middle School Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9-7:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Students will be bringing home fliers with a sneak peek of some of the books that will be at the fair. There will be a wonderful selection of reasonably priced middle school and young adult titles to choose from. We will also have a special section for staff, teachers and parents to shop for adult fiction and non-fiction titles. Parents feel free to stop in and shop at the Book Fair during the school day...or when you are picking up your student at the end of the day. All profits directly support the BMS Media Center! Girls Soccer Athletics There will be a meeting for all current 8th grade girls interested in playing soccer at OHHS next fall. There will be information about offseason workouts and tryouts. This meeting is for current 8th graders and parents ONLY. Oak Hills Middle School Cheer Tryouts Oak Hills Middle School Cheerleading tryouts will be held this year on April 14th and 15th for incoming 6-8 graders. We will be collecting box tops from many brands used in our homes everyday. Bridgetown Middle School will get a minimum of 10 cents for each box top collected. That amount can add up quickly! WHAT: Please join the Oak Hills community for the 7th annual ONE HOPE, ONE HEART fundraiser. Faculty members of Oak Hills schools and District Office will play volleyball to raise funds for district families that have experienced tragic hardship. WHEN: Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Oak Hills High School Gym. COST: PRE-SALE entry tickets $8.00 per family! At the door: $10 per family (up to 6 members), $5 per adult or $3 per student (middle school aged & up). All elementary students must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased prior to the event at the participating schools or at the event. T-shirts can also be purchased for $6 both pre-sale and the night of the event.
