However, the number of fatalities on motorways is likely to remain above the level recorded in 2010. Road fatalities should slightly rise on the departmental road network, with 9 additional fatalities (+1%) in 2016 compared to ; pedestrians, motorcyclists and car users fatalities increasing significantly, contrary to the decline among moped riders and cyclists.
