WHO WE ARE Major League Fishing is a partnership of 24 of the world s most talented, influential professional bass anglers and Outdoor Channel. Major League Fishing features made-for-television bass fishing tournament designed to bring high-level challenges to participants and entertainment, as well as insight, to audiences. The angler group felt the sport of professional bass fishing needed to be enhanced, since the fan base didn t seem to be growing. The anglers also determined the fans do not always get to witness the competitors intelligence and diverse personalities. And, they rarely get to see the behind-the-scenes drama and off-thewater competitiveness that usually play a part in determining the champion for each event. This needed to change in order to appeal to a broader audience and grow the fan base. Based on the conclusions, the anglers conceived the idea that the tournament format needed to be specialized and something very different. A new tournament format was needed that would capture the imagination of fishing fans and sports fans in general. Among other exciting aspects of their format, the anglers envisioned: - Surprise venues No practice days Real-time leader board in each boat No limits on the number of fish weighed Implement time-based deadlines and weight-based cut lines

MLF COMMISSIONER - DON RUCKS 30+ years as a brand builder for fortune 500 companies such as CITGO petroleum. Rucks was the former VP and General Manager of BASS that served on the senior management staff of ESPN Outdoors while at ESPN. Don was the creator of the BASS Elite Series which is currently in place at BASS. He revamped the Bassmasters Classic (Super Bowl of Bass Fishing) by moving it to become the season kick-off event (similiar to the Daytona 500). Don, instituted a NASCAR style designs for boats and pro anglers. Today, he oversees the day-to-day operations and marketing development for MLF. His knowledge of the fishing industry and pro angler relationships is key to future growth. DIRECTOR OF INTEGRATED MEDIA & SPONSORSHIP - JEFF RHOTON 18+ years of sports marketing, digital media and broadcast experience with a key focus on niche sports such as outdoors, softball, rodeo, horse racing, high school sports and more. In 2001, Jeff lead the creative digital team in the launch of the ESPN Outdoors family of sites including Bassmaster.com. In 2007, Jeff designed the brand ID logo for Outdoor Channel. EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF PBTAA - BOYD DUCKETT Boyd Duckett, a former Bassmaster Classic champion and the all-time Bass Angler Sportsman Society (BASS) single-season earnings leader, jumped onto the national stage in 2007 and has never stepped off. While Duckett has earned enormous attention for his accomplishments and his high level of professionalism on and off the water, there is another significant reason pros view Duckett in a leadership role.
