Gymea VICE PRESIDENT: Returning sponsors - Real Play, Goodbuddys, Drop Dead Pest Control & Sydney Airport. $10,000 sponsorship secured through Tradies to sponsors the 8 & 9yrs players. Coaching and umpiring courses to be subsidised. Goodies to be given out at Gala Day. Tradies to provide patches to be sewn on to uniforms and advertise on post pads at Seymour Shaw. Flames advised that they expressed their opinion on this at the last Delegates Meeting. They have a sponsor which conflicts with Tradies, and they are unwilling to have them advertise on either their uniform or BIBS. The following clubs object to advertising Tradies on their uniforms Flames, Cron RSL, St Patricks, Connells Pt, Menai, Gymea and Barden Ridge. Gymea are willing to display the Tradies patch on the BIBS only. Suggestion that only clubs who display the patch benefit from the sponsorship. The to discuss further with Tradies and advise.
