Vice President Chuck Heretta Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all the Tiretown members who put forth that extra effort in the month of July to, not only attend, but to enter or work events. We had a very successful autocross with Corvette Cleveland that saw many Tiretown members offering a hand to work and run the event. Thanks again, it has not gone unnoticed. Not only in the competition area, but also at the park Club meeting and Steak Out at Peg Quine s, Club participation has been on the upswing. It was a great evening to have over 40 members attending a social. If you missed it, try not to miss the next social and meeting. Thanks Peg for your efforts. The month of August has a number of car shows starting August 5 th in Orville at Serpentini Chevrolet. This is a Tiretown event with sanctions from Fun Center to make a total of six events. The prep work is done, now we need workers and entrants. Get out your fiberglass beauty, dust her off, and display her at the show. FREE ICE CREAM! Did that get your attention? Food will be available from Sassy Dogs and music by Aloha Phil, 50/50 drawing, Chinese Auction, and loads of Corvettes to view, and possible a surprise visit. It will be a great day to chat with others about yours and theirs car. Let s raise a lot of money to support Zane s Foundation as we did earlier this year. The month continues with more shows and finishes for some of us with a week in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the NCCC National Convention. This is a week of parties, competition events, the eclipse (watch your eyes), renewing and making new friendships, and our annual car raffle. There are still tickets available at $50 with your choice of a voucher for the base price of a new Corvette or cash. Go to the National website for further details. As a final thought, I take great pride in seeing new members and longtime members coming to events, socials, and meetings and being involved. As we grow older (not me), the spark for the only American Sports Car is still burning strong. Enjoy your car and your Club, these true friendships are with you forever. Keep trying new things, you may just like them. As always, call me if you need me and Thanks Chuck

Please contact me if you would like to attend this dedication and if you would be able to drive your Corvette. Peg Quine, Governor
